Dalmatia Fig Spread, 3.5 Pound

I use this at multiple restaurants inside the food group I work off. I looked around and this was not only the most affordable product, but also a constantly tasty product. I'll continue to order it in the years to come.

Arrived a broken sticky mess. No clear option to immediately replace provided

I was purchasing the 2 pack 8.5 ounce glass jars of this delicious jam regularly, but since I have it for breakfast each morning (on homemade sourdough bread with French salted butter - yes, you may want to try it!) and we also use it on our homemade sourdough pizzas, I was spending too much and tossing a lot of glass into the recycling bin.Found this “food service size” for lack of a better description and couldn’t have been more excited!Package arrived in perfect condition and there are more chunks of figs (likely because of the size) than in the glass jars.If you love this brand (I’ve found it’s one of, if not the best fig spreads I’ve tasted) - it’s much more cost effective and equally delicious.You can also divide it into smaller containers if needed (ensuring they are very clean) for ease of storage/use.Thanks Amazon for having an alternative for those of us “fig jam junkies!”

Tassos Fig Marmalade is the best --no longer available at Costco and pricey via mail order. I bought and planted a fig tree so I could make my own... and while waiting for that 3' tall baby to bear fruit--this is pretty darn good in the homemade yoghurt.If someone had told me that I would eat the whole package of fig spread, 3.5 lb, in a month-- I would have said that's absolutely ridiculous. I am now holding my breath until the delivery on June 30. I ate the whole thing. I'm on a special diet and have problems with smell and taste due to an oral surgery. The fig spread and the homemade yogurt from the instant pot is something that I can tolerate. This has been like a special present for me.

Love the product would definitely order it again.Wish only it came with a more solid container.

Our friends who have tasted this at our house are now all ordering it for themselves. Don't worry about the size of the bucket. Just keep it in the fridge, and it will last for months (unless, of course, you devour it quickly—"definite possibility.") The price buying it this way is just a fraction of the cost of those little jars they sell in some groceries. Great on toasted raisin bread. Spread it on a couple of layers of filo dough along with some melted butter, add nuts or soften apples or leave it plain, roll it up and brush on melted butter, bake in a 350 oven until brown and crisp, and cut into 2 inch lengths. Serve it warm or at room temperature....a wonderful and fast dessert.

I guess I should have read the reviews 😕 item arrived damaged and leaking all over my other items. Since it's not returnable I'll have to throw it out because I have no idea how long it was open and exposed for. Super bummer

Tastes great and appears to be the best value per ounce based on what I've seen. As for shipping: there was some sticky jam residue on the outer container sides, but the lid seal was intact. The sticky stuff was probably just from preparing the shipment. No big deal at all. I am gonna store in fridge but my guess is this will be gone in no time!
