Bought these Thunderbolt double gel knee pads back in 2021, and let me tell you, my knees have been living in luxury ever since. These aren't just knee pads; they're knee penthouses with double gel cushioning that makes kneeling feel like resting on clouds. At first, I listened to the "tough guys" who said real men don't wear knee pads. Spoiler alert: Real men don't have knee problems either. After about a year of pretending my knees didn't ache, I wised up and started wearing these daily. Best decision ever; besides maybe choosing a career where I get to use cool tools and occasionally set things on fire (accidentally, of course). These pads have survived five years of abuse, my weight going from 210 to "let's not talk about it" pounds, and more on/off cycles than a light switch during a horror movie. The Velcro is still holding strong, which is basically a miracle since most Velcro gives up after approximately three uses. Fair warning though; if you work around metal grinding like I do, these will collect tiny metal fragments like they're souvenirs. Wear them bare skin in shorts without washing them first, and you'll discover what it feels like to be a human pincushion. Hand wash them occasionally unless you're into that kind of thing. Tried a cheaper pair when I temporarily lost one of these. It was like downgrading from a memory foam mattress to a pile of rocks with fabric on top. Found my original pair and my knees threw a party. These knee pads are worth every penny. Your knees will thank you, and you'll still be able to walk like a normal person when you're older instead of doing that old-man-knee-bend thing that makes everyone uncomfortable.

Bought the 1st pair of these Thunderbolt Platinum Pro Knee Pads maybe 4-5 years ago (at a big box store) as a gift for my husband, to replace the worn out pair of “soft front” knee pads he was using while renovating our house. He absolutely loved them. He said that they had much better and thicker cushioning (gel + foam) and that the silicone front pads provided much more support and protection to his knees than the old soft knee pads he was using. The wide vecro straps stay secure, and are well above and below your knee so they don’t roll up or bunch up directly behind your knee. Now, he wears them all the time - anytime he puts his work boots on to work on a project around the house, he puts his Thunderbolt Knee pads on. In fact, he has worn the velcro straps out from wearing them so many times! We went back to the big box store to purchase a new/replacement pair. Unfortunately, the store no longer carried the Thunderbolt brand knee pads and only stocked “their own brand”. He tried on several similar knee pads while at the store and couldn’t find anything he liked as much or were as comfortable as the Thunderbolt Knee Pads. He asked me to “please find my Thunderbolt Knee pads online and buy them for me.” So here I am, writing this review. Can’t think of a better endorsement than my husband’s. Thunderbolt Platinum Pro Knee Pads are extremely comfortable, easy to wear, and are definitely durable. Well worth getting yourself a pair (your knees will thank me ;-)

These work great. They stay up when you stand and are very soft and protective of your knees.

Good padding no slip comfy

I got these for my sister-in-law who cleans at Walmart. She has to get down on her knees a lot and was having problems with her knees swelling. These knee pads have been game changers for her! She has worn them for several months now. And she says she gets compliments on them from customers all the time. She wants a new pair now in a different color.

These knee pads get good reviews. For me I was not impressed. I tried them on and wore them in the house some since I was concerned about the padding. I need soft padding in the knee and I like my knee cradled. These seem to have a wide knee area and do not wrap well around the knee. The padding was either too stiff or not enough for me. I have worn in the past gel knee pads where the gel was a liquid that were very comfy over all. That pad is no longer made and I am looking for another manufacturer. I returned these and am still looking. Knee pads are kind of a personal feeling thing something like a good fitting shoe, everyone is different.

Molto comode e pratiche da indossare, consigliate!!

Echt Super Knieschützer. Hab mir die gekauft weil ich unser laubendach erneuern und da auf den Knien arbeiten musste. Und ein Kumpel hat mir seine von Parkside geliehen aber die waren echt schlecht und meine Knie taten nach der Zeit und hinterher extrem weh. Deswegen etwas hier bei Amazon gesucht und die gefunden und aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen hab ich mich dann für die entschieden und bin froh die gekauft zu haben. Stundenlang immer wieder auf den Knien zu rutschen, aufstehen und wieder auf die Knie zu gehen ist ja echt anstrengend für die Knochen aber mit den Knieschutzer hatte ich keine Schmerzen hinterher oder währenddessen. Und auch einen Tag später geht es meinen Knien gut, kein Schmerz, drücken oder so. Das einzige was etwas wehtat nach der Zeit war hinten in der Kniekehle, weil die Bänder mit den Klettverschlüssen nach der Zeit auch etwas verrutschen und dann dort scheuern aber das kann auch daran liegen weil ich mit einer kurzen Arbeitshose gearbeitet habe. Kann ich nur empfehlen die Knieschoner.
