This is an average kit nothing special. I hook it up to my amp and comes with everything you needed to complete amp and subwoofer installation, however the wires being used is thin as other reviews stated but on the positive note its insulation is thick. For the price it's a great bargain. Would recommend this to anyone for the price this product is not bad at all it does the job. Update:1-5-2012 After almost five months of used with this product it still performs what it is intended for, without problems as other reviewers encountered. I used this kit to hooked up to a 1000 watts amp. As a reminder this kit comes with all the wires, connectors and fuse with fuseholder. Remember this unit is intended for a high flow current use for a high powered amp and since this kit has thin wires in it, it is a neccessity to solder the tip of the wires to its corresponding connectors and thighten it properly when installing. As with connecting the positive wire to the fuse holder be sure also to solder the bare stripped wire before connecting it to the latter and thighten it properly and you'll be glad you did. Even with the thickest wires used if not install properly will cause shorts or even fires. Don't cheap on the connection solder it for your own safety.

Great kit overall but I give 4 stars because the connectors that go on end of cables are cheap and doesn’t secure wire at all. It easily slips. Be sure to purchase a remote for your amp because it doesn’t come with one. The remote is used to turn sub up or down with out going to the amp doing so manually.

Usually I don’t do reviews but I am running a 1200w American bass sub on a 1200w amp off a 8gauge wire and it sounds great takes lots of power I’ve had it in my car bumping for a couple months now comes with everything honesty great budget wiring kit

This product definitely meets the reputation of boss amongst the car audio community and not in a good way. It will get you going but that's about the end of anything good I can say about it. If starting out in this hobby. Please do not use this kit to power any amplifier over 800 watts RMS at the most. If using this for your mids and highs on a midrange or lower budget 400watt 2 channel amplifier this might be about perfect for that. The power and ground wire provided is about 80% rubber insulation and 20% actual wire. Also note that this is CCA and low quality CCA at that. Not OFC or any other type of pure stranded copper. The wire is such low quality that you can literally just pull it apart with minimal effort. I cannot comment or review the quality of the rca cables because I do not know enough about them to give a reliable review. Lastly for those starting off into the hobby as I imagine that you would be If you're viewing this product power is EVERYTHING in a system. You have to have it to make it. I know money is tight to a lot of people including myself but wire should not be where you make cuts in your budget and I learned this from trial and error through actual experience as well as research. If you are running an amplifier that actually puts out over 1,000 watts rms and calls for 4 awg you need to invest in quality ofc wire such as nvx. If possible get an adapter and run 2 runs of it power and ground. You need to look up the "big 3" and do that. This is all very very important. You do not want your power to bottleneck your system. It will run on crappy wire but will significantly reduce output and sound quality. Trust me. I learned the hard way
