Seems to work great.
I have this in a 6v 600lb corn feeder with a small solar hooked up. It runs 30 seconds on hi in the morning, and 10 seconds on high in the afternoon and is still fully charged after 3 months of use. Seems to work really well.

I know this isn't an approved backup battery, but the skimpy 2.3 AH battery is not enough. I connected this battery using a short 2-conductor wire and placed the battery in an alarm box enclosure. Now I get almost 5 times the backup time.
