Good but green light is too bright
Works fine but if you place in a bedroom then be warned that the whole circle in the middle flashes green very brightly every 40 seconds or so. Good idea to know if alarm is active but too bright.

Annoying flashing light
This a replacement for our old Fireangel Smoke alarm, this is a well established brand so no doubt this will work BUT the unit emit a very bright green flash every 40s to let you know it is active, at night it feel like you are having a lighting strike where the dector is (by our bedroom door) and this is very annoying, unfortunately not highlighted in the maker description, people did mentioned but you won't realise how bright this is untill you activate/fit it. It is a good idea to have a visual signal that the detector is active but badly excecuted, much too bright.
