Hen Saver Apron/Saddle Extra Large Chicken Yard Tan Camouflage, Double Strap

I have a very large & agressively amorous rooster that really did some damage to his favorite hen. This was just the ticket for allowing her to heal up completely & keep him from injuring her further. My only complaint with the saddle is that it tends to fall to the side & need to be repositioned often. I think this is probably just the nature of the beast & fact that my rooster still continues to love on her. All in all I am very happy with the product.

the apron was not large enough for a normal chicken. The sizing of your articles were running too small and the way the review or how you order them was not quite correct..

This was supposed to be an extra large. My hens are average size and this was WAY too small to fit the hen I needed this for. The hen went crazy because it was so tight and didn't fit at all. I put it on her and she absolutely went crazy trying to get out of it. Would never recommend this for anybody.

We got 3 more of the "Aprons" without the shoulder protection because not all of our girls needed the extra coverage. now all of our girls get the protection they need from the attention of our "Friskie" Rooster :-)

I bought this for my RI Reds as my rooster has been a bit too frisky lately. The XL is slightly big but the L would have been too small. Works as described and the pattern is great

the sizing is not right.

As soon as these arrived I figured they would not work. They are thick and stiff and impossible to keep on the chickens.
