This is a very well-made garment, very soft but sturdy. I did not have surgery, but I wanted a firm shaper to wear at a semi-formal occasion. I am matronly, shaped with a large abdomen but my legs, hips, and bust are not very large. The legs on the shaper actually were like shorts, not even fitted to my legs. I could not get the shaper closed over my belly. On the package it says "Do you think it's too small? Don't worry, scan this" with a QRS code. That QRS is a dead link. So I'm returning it, because it didn't work for me, although I think that is my body's fault, not the garment. One word for all of you who are seeking to shape yourselves and look better: be thrilled and grateful that you have a waistline! It's very hard to look feminine or find clothes that fit if you let yourself get a belly so big nothing fits.

I had purchased a very expensive faja with sleeves from a local Shapers store. I tried it on before surgery and I thought is was ok. It had a zipper crotch which has pros and cons. After surgery, I put it on and because I have a long torso the zipper was going into my cooter. Very uncomfortable!! I needed another one and one quick! But I can't go out to the store and try on Fajas just 14 days post-op!! Oh how I Love AMAZON!! I purchased the Sonryse Faja on Amazon in a chocolate color with a built-in bra and I Love it!! So comfortable and half the price!! The straps on the built-in bra are adjustable which is great for this long-torso girl! It has “4 Rows of hook and eye!!” which will allow you to wear it longer as the swelling goes down. I am 14 days post-op and I am on the very first row with tummy board in. I ordered the size that corresponded to my measurements 32” waist and 39.75” hips, according to the size chart I was a medium. I honestly didn't think that could be correct being I was an extra large in the Delia Shaper I purchased from the Shaper store locally. I received it today and ladies the medium fit!!! So, measure twice and order once if you follow the size chart!! The material is strong like the expensive uncomfortable one but so much more comfortable!! Follow the size chart its true to size!! I am 5’8” 145lbs 32” waist and 39.75” hips 14 days post-op tummy tuck and breast lift. The crotch is a flap, and I was able to pee with no issue, true test will be when I poo, but I don't think that will be an issue. I ordered another one in Cocoa too. Oh the built-in bra is supportive and doesn't ride up. I like that I'm not having to adjust my bra like I was with the other one. If you are having a Tummy Tuck, or any plastic surgery bbl, breast lift you will need several fajas. You can't dry them in the dryer they have to air dry, so you need a back up. But you will need several different styles to wear under your normal clothes. You will be in your Faja for a several months. These are reasonable priced and Sonryse has several different styles to match your needs. Don't hesitate take your measurements, measure twice and then match your size with sizing chart and order it! True size , strong support and compression I like the material and all that for a reasonable price .

There are pros and cons to this faja. I will go over both. I am 3.5 weeks post-op from Vaser lipo on my upper and lower abdomen, hips, and arms. It was time to get something more supportive and was recommended to get this one since it will provide more support. I will start with the pros: Good quality Provides a lot of support Not too hard to put on Has hooks so that you can adjust as needed I was very happy how well this faja kept me compressed and I was still able to breathe. Now the cons: If you have big/thick legs or thighs, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! It digs into your skin and hurts so BAD! The fit was perfect around the stomach area and everywhere else, but that tightness around my legs was excruciating! It was to the point where I had to get the scissors to cut around the leg part to see if it provided any relief! It did temporarily but who wants to pay money on a Faja to cut it up! This needs to be made more flexible for those of us who are muscular and thicker in the thigh and leg area. To get an idea, I ordered a size Medium, I am 5 feet, waist is 32 inches, hips are 45 inches. The pain doesn't happen immediately but as the day goes by. It left rings and painful bruises around my legs. So...if you have smaller legs then this is for you.

The zippered crotch design on this Sonryse model is well-executed and much easier to manage than the hook-and-eye versions. Leg Grips: The silicone lace at the thighs actually stays put. It doesn't roll up or "sausage" your legs, which is a common complaint with mid-thigh shapers. Pros: Stage 2 Perfection: Offers great "shaping" while supporting healing tissues. Comfortable Lining: No itching or overheating, even on long workdays. Strong Compression: Holds everything in place without feeling like you can't breathe. Cons: Sizing is Strict: These are Colombian sizes, so they run very small compared to US standard clothing. Follow the size chart exactly—if you’re between sizes, definitely go up. Final Verdict: If you’re moving out of your initial post-op binder and need something that combines medical support with a more "normal" look, this is the one. It’s a high-quality, durable garment that helps you feel confident and supported during the final stages of recovery.

My Measurements: Ht: 4’10” Wt: 140lbs Waist: 27” Hips: 40.5” Underbust: 30.5” Bust: 36” Based on size chart, I purchased a size medium. If the intention was to start on first of 4 rows of latches, that was not the case. I’m am on the 4th row, and no compression above belly button. Thighs are VERY tight . The cups of the bra only have 1 row of latches and it is very loose up top in the cups and on the shoulders. The bra area is not adjustable. I would’ve gotten a size small, but other reviews mentioned the thigh area being very tight. Other than that, the faja seems to be well made. Probably a good option for those that just want a faja to sleep in, or one to wear while washing others. But the compression in this garment does not seem to be well- distributed. Tight in the hips, tight thighs, loose with no room to shrink in waist, and barely hanging on bra and straps. I would’ve not recommend for anyone who’s had a BBL. I will be returning.

It's a very good quality girdle; it's very comfortable, doesn't bother you, and doesn't leave marks since it doesn't have uncomfortable seams. The lace on the legs prevents it from rolling up. I highly recommend it; I'll buy another one in a different color.

I have tried 5 other brands, 2 from Amazon. This one is by far the superior quality. Really holds the waist in and supports the back and torso. Lighter fabric around the butt gives very nice definition to the butt. 2 negetives, would be nice to have a version with sleeves, and it comes up very small, buy one size bigger. I am generally a xs or s. I bought S, it was still too small. Bought another in Medium and that fits me well. The rubber under the lace is a nice touch to stop it from riding up.
