Wingscapes Camera A/C Power Adapter

What can I say? It's what I was looking for, and works just the way I want it to.

This power supply works as described, but I had hoped it would have been weatherproof. Since the camera is weatherproof, I thought the power supply may have weatherproof too, especially since it is kind of expensive for what it does.It does have a long cord ( estimating about 8 feet) and you can put the "power brick" in a dry location and run the wire to the camera.The camera uses 4 batteries and the set of batteries that came with the camera only lasted about 4 days. I put in a new set of Alkaline batteries and they lasted about 8 days. That is with 1 picture per hour for 14 hours a day.I have project ( construction project) going now that will require the camera be operational for at least a year so this power supply was a " must have item". I can only access the camera every 30 to 60 days so the batteries installed now are really just for backup purposes in case of a power failure.I am sure had I been willing to go out look for an generic power supply, I could find one, but I needed to get this camera in place quickly and Amazon via the 3rd party supplier shipped this really fast. It came 2 days before the camera arrived.

This is a strictly utilitarian item. It does what it's supposed to do, offers no surprises and causes no problems.
