Green Flageolet Heirloom Beans Non GMO 2 POUNDS Known as the Caviar of Beans

They were very clean with few broken beans or foreign matter such as small stones. In a fact there were no small stones. That being said I would always check for them before the soaking step. I was very pleased with this product.

Vast majority of American brands of flageolet beans have somewhere from10 to 30% of green color beans. Not these. These are almost all green. Meaning, these farmers know when to harvest flageolet. Thank you Mohr-Fry Ranches in Thornton, CA!

I ordered these flageolet in 2022, I got the 2019 crop of beans. As a chef, I do not like getting OLD off the shelf product. Paying this much for 3 year old dried beans is not going to happen again in my universe

I'm a home cook with considerable experience with French products.These beans were a total disappointment in quality. Several stones and/or broken or shriveled beans were discovered during the soak and I was so disgusted that I threw out the entire batch that I planned to prepare.

Nice flavor. I enjoy them with carrots in a stew.
