Bright cool white light and stays fairly cool to the touch, certainly safer than halogen. The 800 watt equivalent claim is dubious; it may meet a similar luminosity rating if measured a few inches from the lamp, but light from LEDs seems to lose strength with any distance so I'd like to see the luminosity comparison measured at a normal usage distance, say 8-15', but that is less of a gripe with this product specifically and more a criticism of the deceptive LED luminosity equivalency standards. This lamp is nearly as bright as my 500w halogen stand light that it is replacing, and the light this produces is not as "even". It is much more convenient than a stand lamp, I even used it inside a sink cabinet next to me when replacing a faucet which was really nice, but I'll probably need to supplement with additional lighting when sanding sheetrock, painting, or anything else that can be thrown off by odd lighting. That said, having used it for a few odd jobs already, I'd still buy it again because it was a good value.

I hate that they want reviews so soon because I can't speak about anything but initial perceptions. The light is very bright and you don't want to look directly into it. It has a very long cord which was a big selling point for me and initial quality is great. I don't know how well it will stand the test of time but supposedly you are never going to have to change bulbs so that is another big plus. Heat is dispersed and it doesn't get hot so you won't get burnt or start a fire with it which is outstanding.

Would prefer knobs to adjust the tilt angle instead of Allen screws. Also, the on/off switch could be larger and easier to use. Otherwise, very nice light. Just got the light so don't know about durability.

This light is "Bright!!!" I use it to light up my archery target so I can practice at night. It has a wide beam pattern, and an extremely bright, while light.

I bought this to replace a 3,000 lumen light I bought at Lowe’s for more money. This is much brighter. I wasn’t sure how loud the fan would be, it’s not loud at all. It’s so nice to have a LED vs the old halogen light I would constantly burn myself on.

A very bright and rugged light. Definitely a good value.This light is built pretty tough, especially compared to most other lights I have owned.The cord is plenty long, making it very handy around the worksite.The fan is fairly quite and the unit does not get hot at all.

This is a great light for such a decent price. It is extremely bright, does not get hot and the extra long cord is great too!! It’s also a plus that there are two levels of brightness.
