ok so my scope called for a 31, and the manufacture gave this part number as being the right size for fitting, it fits too small, and I should have gone with a 32. What I found is it fits so tight that the flip on the end will not stay snapped in place, I know this is not a design flaw it was bad information provided to me by the manufacture of my scope. I have multiple scopes with the on them and never have I had any issues with them.

Used these for years on my hunting rifles, not very durable if your careless when installing them on your scope. I did pop the spring off one time but it was my fault not the scope cap’s, can be little bit of a pain getting the correct size, you have to be sure and measure the endbell of the scope correctly. Lol

I use Butler Creek lens caps on all my scopes and never had a problem. Tight fit and keeps the lenses clean and dry. Measure the object and eye of the scope with a pair of calipers and match the measurements to the size chart for a proper fit.

I have an SWFA SS 3-15x42mm scope that is spec'ed within the measurement range stated on this scope cover. My scope's measurement is admittedly on the lower end of that range and although the cover is usable, it nudges a bit every time I push open the cover. I just bought another of what I thought to be the same cover from SWFA and the one I received was spec'ed to fit on "30" objective only instead of this item's "30-31". That difference is also displayed on the box. The one from SWFA fits much better than this "30-31" without any movements. Just letting people know that there are differences in items within the same measurement ranges for a better fit.

Having used the more expensive screw on magnetic flip covers these were surprisingly good for the far cheaper cost. Slip over your eye piece and they aren't going anywhere (assuming you did your job and found the eye piece size and matched your cover accordingly, just takes a few minutes). Flip open with a satisfying "pop" and close with an equally satisfying "snap." I'm confident no debris is getting in when these are closed and they do the job perfectly!

In the hand, it sort of feels a little flimsy, but once you put it on the scope, it's good to go. Snug fit onto my Prostaff, easily opens and closes, and has an o-ring around the inside to keep moisture and dust out when closed. Very nice product. I wish it had the push button like the size 19-20 does....which fits the other end of this particular scope.

I love these! This is the second scope that I installed them on and will use them on all my scopes.

There is no 32 size, it goes from 30-31 to 33-34 so if you have a Vortex scope with 2.023 size you are stuck with this which fits super tight. BUT that is the least of the problem... it dont stay closed and there is no provision to even make it stay closed, no click, no seal, it just barely sits on whatever lip and flops open all the time. Very poor design lack of latch system.. Im seeking an alternative as this is useless and a piece of junk.
