Omega National Rubberwood Bread Board 3/4 x 16 x 23-1/2

Beautiful, awesome craftsmanship! Perfect replacement for daughters older home!

I purchased this board as a replacement for our battered 30+ year old plywood board. The quality & craftsmanship are excellent, I would highly recommend this one. Especially for the price. When I looked at other places online, one place even quoted 3 times the amount I paid for this one.I cook a lot, so I've used it several times already, mainly chopping veggies. This cutting board has held up perfectly so far, even under my sharpest knives.The color of this board is a bit lighter than our original woodwork, which is pretty dark anyway, but this board has one end that's lighter colored, and the other is darker. So the darker shade blends well with our cabinets and is not too noticeably different.One thing to note - I measured the dimensions of the slot the board was supposed to fit into, but didn't look to see if there were guides inside. So what I ordered was a bit too wide. BUT, because it's real wood, my husband just cut 1/4" off one side and sanded it smooth - now it fits exactly. So be sure to measure your old board, not the opening.

Bought this to replace an old veneer covered plywood pull-out bread board. Apparently ours was an unusual size so I had to cut about an inch off the side of this to make it fit but I knew that before purchase.This board is very very thirsty. It absorbed at least 10 oz of mineral oil and probably could have taken more. No problems with warping that others have experienced, but again, I put at least 10 oz of oil in it.

Look at attached pictures - This board is great! You do need to oil/seal the wood, but that should be done on any cutting board.Pros:This perfectly replaced my 30yr old plywood original bread board with a very nice solid hardwood board.Size is spot on for a 16 inch bread board slot in a 25 inch deep cabinet.The wood is a very nice Rubberwood hard wood - it is great for cutting on.It has a tight grain so it does not show cut marks too badly. (It does get cut marks, but the solid wood will last for many years.)Price is MUCH less then the "Custom" boards I could find.Con: Color may not match your cabinets. (I got lucky there).Conclusion: Great cutting board, bread board replacement. Get this one if it is the correct size for your needs.

This is a great cutting board. Now I am going to have to remodel the rest of the kitchen to match it.

I couldn't find the exact sized board I needed for the hole in cabinet, but this one was close. Cut the width down a 1/2" and it fits perfectly.

Great quality, great price! The bread board came packaged properly and we instantly treated it with oil. It did soak up a lot of oil. No problems whatsoever!

I was looking to replace the cutting board in my old old house. It pulls out from under the countertop. It fit great.
