Beautiful dish

I have a beach themed bathroom and put it on the window sill. Looks great!

This dish is beautiful and a nice size, but it is not at all deep. I'm having a little trouble finding a use for it, except maybe to hold jewelry. I wanted it for my outdoor beach-themed patio, but it is not deep enough to hold candy or olives or nuts, etc. It really is pretty, but I probably wouldn't buy it again unless I can think of something useful.

I ordered 4 dishes and they came very poorly packed, dishes not even wrapped. One was broken and one chipped. But for the other two to have survived shipment without protection, they must be pretty sturdy dishes. They were a little smaller than I had envisioned, even thought i used a ruler before I ordered them. I think we will enjoy using the two survivors. The next size up is almost double in price.

I will be using this dish as a soap dish in my daughter's bathroom. It is truly white unlike so many other items that are advertised to be white but are actually cream-colored or beige. The quality is good - actually great when you consider the low price.I purchased the round soap-savers and am using one in this dish. It is a perfect fit. The dish is shallow enough that the soap-saver can be pressed down and it will conform to the contours of the shell.

It was smaller than what I thought. Still pretty and I was able to use it after all.
