Great Size - Too Many Loose Bristles
Let me start with what I love about these brushes. The length of the brushes is absolutely ideal. They are long enough to easily hold, but there's no extra length to make it unbalanced. I also like the assortment of sizes and the fact that the brushes are clearly labeled so you can always be sure to use the right brush. The handles are plastic. They are lightweight and nothing about it is really a problem. However, I was immediately reminded of why I preferred wood handled brushes when I was a nail technician. A brush with a wood handle can be sharpened to a point on the end and it makes a double ended tool that helps to clean excess gel from the nail edges while you work. The plastic handles aren't any kind of problem, but I will definitely be replacing the brushes with wood handles asap so I can make use of the other end as well. The reason for the 3 star review on this product is the bristles. It's not uncommon for one or two bristles to come loose when you first use a brush and I expected that. I worked the gel thoroughly into the brush and had a pair of tweezers on hand to take care of the loose bristles. Unfortunately, these brushes have continued to shed bristles as I have used them. I've done my nails twice now and had to fish bristles out of the gel that I applied to my nails at least 4 different times. And that is in addition to the original few I removed when first saturating the brushes. This isn't an acceptable amount of loss and it makes applying gel to my nails very tedious. I also had one bristle come loose and was much longer than the others. It couldn't be pulled free with the tweezers and continued to be in the way as I attempted to apply the gel. I was finally forced to stop what I was doing, find scissors, and cut the stray bristle off the brush. I will definitely hunt down a higher quality brush for applying my gel.All opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own. I have shared my personal experience with this product and cannot guarantee that you will have the same experience with the product that I had, nor can I promise that we will share the same opinion of the product.

So far so good
I just received these today. My first impression was good for one I wasn't supposed to receive these until around June 1st to the 17th so that is an extreme Plus I am very happy that they came early they had fast shipping I ordered these on May 5th and they got here way sooner than was expected. They came in a white bag as you see in the picture and it had bubble wrap wrapped around it and was inside of another gray bag so the shipping was very good and it was well protected. I love the colors and the designs that are in them they look a lot better than in the pictures but that's something that you would just have to purchase them to see for yourself if design is a factor for use in a salon or something but I just use these at home. I have yet to use them as I wasn't expecting them to get here so soon so I just recently did my nails but I will be using them in the near future obviously and I will then update on how well they work the only bad thing that I have seen about them so far and it's not even really a big deal is that a few of the hairs are fraid and that's something that I'm hoping when I get them wet will fix and if not it's not a large amount of the bristles so I can just snip them off and it shouldnt affect the brushes. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase is a great deal and it is definitely worth the money

These are good for clean up.
I don't have fake nails, I got these to clean up after I do my nails, my hands shake, and these brushes come in handy to clean up my mistakes and gives my nails a nice professional look, nice clean lines. The brushes are hard as a brick, until you get them wet. I don't know how these would do to put on the stuff to make nails longer, thicker, can't think of the name lol, it's been 10 yrs. since I had that done. For the price you can't beat it! But it did take for ever to get here. I guess to if your really good you could use some of the brushes for designs on nails, or even for lip stick, I'm sure there are a lot of things you can use these brushes for. As you can see in photo at the brush that is a brick, one of them, then 2 were soft, but if you just wet them, they become soft.

Pleasantly surprised π
I bought these just to get me by. I have 2 japanese brushes from presto. But I wasn't trying to buy more because they are like 16 a piece (its a struggleπ) I low key wasn't expecting much because of their price point but girl....... They do the job well. I love that the set had brushes with a smaller width. That made it easy to paint gel on my growing nubs π Even with 4 years under my belt, a clean gel mani can be hard on tiny nails. The only thing I wish they had an option to buy caps. So keep the little plastic tubes they come with. HOW TO PRIME: all nail brushes come with the hairs glued from manufacturing. Put some fluid/ runny base gel on a foil or something, and start to run your brush back and forth until the bristles are all unstuck. That's it π For care always use base gel to clean brushes. Then I like to leave a drop of base gel on the bristles to keep them moist for next use π¦π¦

Nice, but comes apart from brush.
These brushes applies nicely, but after a while they fall apart from the brush part. It's hard to glue them back as a whole brush.

#10 is perfect for polish clean-up!
These work for what I intended which is cleaning up my edges when I do my nails. I am self taught on acrylic and hard gel and I have garnered quite the collection of odds and ends to make that work. So far I've only used the #10 brush and I've used it several times always in straight acetone and I've never had a problem which it fraying or coming undone. The price for the whole set was less than the cost of one at a beauty supply store so I am happy with it based on that alone. If it does conk out I have the others to fall back on but again I only use this for clean-up after polishing...
