This Reel Works For Me!
I bought (2) of these Kastking Brutus 500 spinning reels a few months back. I've had absolutely no problems with either reel & I fish a lot! I use them for catfishing & they get the job done. I ordered a third Kastking Brutus 500 spinning reel just last week. I paired all three with an Ugly Stik Catfish Special (old model) 7' med/heavy rod that I purchased on Amazon as well. JMO, for the money I don't think you can beat this reel.

Great reel
Really great feel. It’s a replacement for an older one we had that fell apart somehow. This was a great option at a great price.

Seems awesome but I can’t give a 5 star because I haven’t caught a fish on either of the 2 I bought so I think they have the skunk on em.

Solid, smooth, inexpensive.
Excellent economically priced reel. Smooth, easy to adjust and feels as nice as some more expensive reels. Impressed with what you get for the money. Drag adjusts smoothly, solid feel. This is my second one, I also have a Royal Legend and it’s been great too.
