Jane ugh
I enjoyed finding out Kai's story. He turned out to be a sweetheart.I did not like Jane at all, not in the beginning and not at the end. She was way too pushy and demanding. She is as bad as Evie and doesn't deserve a sweetheart like Kai.We get to see Bram and Evie. Unfortunately, she has emasculated him. She acts as though she is clan leader. There was not as much action in this book as there was in the books two and three.

Wonderful
I wish I could have given it a higher rating, but there were gramtical errors that I couldn't over look. The story flowed great and the characters felt real

Fire and Ice Win Everytime!
Jane Hartley is the tall, curvy, black haired, well built, confident TV journalist that interviewed Melanie Hall-McLeod and broke the news that Dragon-Shifters were not monsters in “Revealing the Dragons”, but just wanted to live like anyone else. One growling, tattooed, muscled specimen of a male dragon-shifter which made her heart sputter and mouth water. Kai was not immune to Jane either. In fact when he saw her in the Fox and Stag Pub, Kai found himself thinking words like OURS and how it would be to……well you get the drift! Kai and Jane, when together, seem to ignite sparks and throw each other curves. It leaves Kai wrestling with his dragon and Jane trying to think up ways to get her dragon shifter naked! Oh and there’s this tiny problem about the dragon hunters that want all dragon-shifters eliminated! Jane and Kai continue to dance around one another as they pursue the Carlisle Dragon Hunters, baddies both really want to take down. Lust, Arousal, and Timing drive them both crazy. Kai gets injured and Jane wants to take care of him. Each really wants the other in a very sensual way but something keeps interrupting them. Meetings, time appointments with doctors as, which make for a very frustrated pair. Kai’s dragon is driving him nearly batty with his wanting Jane as MINE, and he tells Kai in no uncertain terms! The final installment of Reawakening the Dragon begins Jane and Kai finally getting what they have been craving all along. No more interruptions, no more meetings, Kai is healed enough, Dr Sid says it ok and they are both so ready for this mating. Kai and Jane are sensually drawn into a powerfully woven dance. Kai’s in-head conversations with his dragon about Jane are both insightful and amusing since they both try to “take control”. Jane and Kai fight for supremacy in this “fire” and “ice” love dance.Jessie weaves the book with background and other characters from previous books and lets us see new ones. Her dragon series are interwoven in this fashion. Once you read one she hooks you with a good story so you crave to read them all! I have been a Jessie Donovan fan since I first read Sacrificed to the Dragon and look forward to the next one Dragons Dilemma!

"Love Kai and Jane"
Reawakening the Dragon, is the 5th book in the Stonefire British Dragons series. It's the amazing story of Kai Sutherland, head enforcer of the Stonefire dragons and Jane Hartley, a reporter who wants to get more into investigating the news not just reporting it.Jane is out to make a name for herself no matter how high the cost. Starting with exposing the Carlisle hunters for who they really are. Kai on the other hand just wants to destroy the Carlisle hunters and be done with them. Things get even more interesting and heated between the two when Bram, leader of the Stonefire clan, makes Kai "babysit" Jane once they found out what she is working on and the fact that she is in mortal danger. Therefore Kai and Jane find themselves, much to Kai's dismay, working the same case.I really enjoyed reading Kai and Jane's story and was happy that Jessie Donovan put them together. You could just feel the chemistry between the two of them when Kai first meet Jane back on Stonefire and his strong desire for her.Kai meet his mate when he was younger but she choose another mate forcing Kai to close himself off. However Kai's dragon has other ideas and wants to claim Jane as his. The inner battle between man and dragon opposed to just man and woman was a great read. Reading Kai and his dragon struggle was very humorous.I'm really looking forward to reading more about what makes Kai tick as the series continues. I don't think we got the whole story of who he really is yet and I hope to learn more. The Stonefire Dragon clan is always a great read and I recommend anybody who wants to leave reality behind and get lost in an adventure to read this series.

Dragon Passion
I’m obsessed with these books I’m reading them all for a second time! I love the characters and second time around is even better because I see the future development of other characters in these books. I recommend them as entertaining reads for adult readers who like fantasy, romance and steamy love scenes!!

Reawakening The Dragon #5
This book is about Kai and Jane. Kai is the head of security for the Stonefire Clan. And Jane is a reporter for the BBC but for this story she is out on her own. That is when Kai runs into her again. She is trying to hunt down the location of the dragon hunters to get a story. But when Kai see her in this shady bar and in disguised he just knows he had to get her out of there. And that is when they started to work together. But of course not everything can work out smooth. So enjoy the read and see how and what kind of trouble these two can get into ! !

Really good but one big disappointment.
I really loved this book. Jane is a reporter who in previous books has done interviews with the human sacrifices and it has made her a target with the dragon hunters. She works with the head protector Kai to try to find the location of their base. Jane is a wee bit annoying though! As she answers him back all the time and it gets a bit annoying. He likes it though.*Spoiler alert*The big disappointment with this book is that Kai’s true mate turned him down many years ago. So while there is a happy ending I was so disappointed that she wasn’t a true mate. To be honest I wouldn’t have read it if I’d known. There’s something so romantic about true mates and the mating frenzy. I was hoping all the way through the book that it would happen.

This book is sixth of the Stonefire Clan series. Kia is the clan head protector and as soon as he meets Jane when she first interviewed Mel for BBC.Jane as always had feelings for Kia but he always comes across as hard silent brooding shifter.Kia and his dragon has always liked Jane but Kia has already met his mate in her previous clan. Maggie is incredibly shy and didn't want to go through mate-frenzy so mated to another shifter while Kia was in human army.Kia comes back and his dragon goes crazy and needs restraining but in the end Kia starts to get back to a normal life. This mating is really weird their not supposedly true mate but both Kia and his dragon want Jane for their mate. Great story and HEA enjoyed epilogue.

Meh
Some parts of the story were really compelling and well written, but it still had a lot of unnecessarily crude sex scenes that seemed to be there just because. Her characters didn't seem very cohesive, once they mated up they changed completely and I found that disappointing. It would have been nice to see a very stubborn, wary dragon shifter carry on being cautious even though he wants to fall in love. Other than that, I guess it's an ok book. Not sure I'm going to finish the series, though, as they all seem the same, just with different characters. Not that the characters seem different from one another.

Reawakening the Dragon
It's porn in writing form, that what you get with all of Donovan's books. The story wouldn't be so bad, if not for the language. It is not sexy, it is the biggest turn off.
