Love this gentle cleaner. I keep this in my shower and it’s a gentle cleanser, perfect for mornings. No irritation, just effective cleansing.

I’ve been using CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser twice a day for about 3 months on my oily skin. The gel texture foams up easily with just a small amount and removes sunscreen, light makeup, and oil without a lot of scrubbing. What I like is that my face feels clean and refreshed afterward but not squeaky or overly tight, especially if I follow with a moisturizer. It’s fragrance‑free, which is great for my sensitive side, and I like that it’s formulated with ceramides and other barrier‑friendly ingredients instead of harsh detergents. Overall, this is a solid everyday cleanser for normal to oily or combination skin that wants a deep clean without stripping. I’d recommend it if you struggle with excess oil or breakouts but still want something gentle enough for daily use.

I think I have combination skin, I don't specifically know what my TRUE skin type is but I do know that my face gets super greasy throughout the day and during the night, but I also break out very easily. I've always had problems finding cleansers that get rid of the nasty oils on my face and make me feel truly clean. Most cleansers that I've felt have "worked" for me make my face feel tight afterwards, and I always associated that tightness with cleanliness and cleansing. That all changed when I got this. Everyone does recommend CeraVe but after I used "CeraVe in the tub" and it broke me out horribly, I was wary of all CeraVe products. I decided to give this a shot and see how it worked for me. First of all it truly does what it says it does, my face DOES NOT feel tight afterwards but I still feel like my face is "clean". Sometimes I even forget to put on moisturizer right after a shower because my face feels so smooth, clean and quenched. My boyfriend has noticed a change in my complexion and even asked if I was using something different because my face looked so clear! This product even curbs the hormonal acne I get about a month before my birth control appointment is due. It's a lot of quality product for the price, and you only need a small amount to work up a lather. This is truly for "Normal to Oily skin" because my boyfriend started using it to wash his face as well and it looks so much better, no more flakiness for him! I'm really glad I gave this a shot and I will try incorporating more CeraVe products into my skincare routine slowly and see if my results are even better. If you think you have oily skin and your oily face is what mostly makes you feel gross throughout the day, then I really do think you should give this product a try, It gets rid of makeup and built up grease in one wash, and it doesn't make your face feel tight afterwards which I think is key. I like this so much I have a subscription, but it lasts so long I only have it set to get one every 4 months and that's with two people using it at the same time.

I’ve been using this facial cleanser for several years, and it continues to impress me. The soothing foaming action feels luxurious and rinses away easily, leaving my skin fresh and clean but never dry. It’s especially gentle and effective for mature skin, with no added fragrance—just a pure, comfortable cleanse. I like to massage it in for a few minutes to let it work its magic before rinsing with warm water and finishing with a splash of cold.

It is gentle and does not dry my combination skin. No tightness or flaking post-cleanse which is nice. It's not necessarily foamy but I have hard water - many products do not lather well with hard water anyway - so I am not bothered by that. It's a clear gel cleanser that whitens and slightly foams during use. It does not irritate my skin or break me out, and gets the job done. Though, if you are trying to remove heavy makeup, I'd recommend double cleansing, or using makeup remover or wipes prior to cleansing. I'd been using this for a few months and bought a new bottle because it came up on Amazon's deals for almost $5 off. Good deal, but came in crappy packaging. It was shipped in a normal orange envelope with no bag or anything to seal it inside and the product leaked all over the inside of the envelope. So I don't know how much of it was lost due to the leak plus it weirds me out a bit that it was open like that. I like the CeraVe and will buy it again but not from Amazon, rather just pay a couple extra bucks for a clean full bottle at my local CVS.

First of all, I'm 24 and have been dealing with horrendous acne since the age of 15. I've been a long time Proactiv fan, but recently it seems like my acne has grown immune to it so I was back on the hunt to find new products. I've tried several, including some prescription ones from my dermatologist but nothing seemed to tame the acne beast within! Finally, I'm writing this review with the clearest skin I've had since I was a little girl (yes, even better than Proactiv when it was working for me!). First, this is by far the best daily cleanser to use. It doesn't over dry which even if you have oily skin like me, is very important. Often times you won't know if your cleanser is overdrying your face because your body will produce more oil to make up for it, and then you'll have more acne! Second, you need a good exfoliator to clean away all of the dead skin and gunk that clogs your pores to begin with. You have to be careful because a lot of exfoliators are so harsh on the skin that they can actually open up small microscopic sores that bacteria nestles inside of and creates acne. My favorite exfoliator is TreeActiv Anti Acne & Rosacea Treatment Sulfur Mask Plus Rhassoul, Bentonite Clay Mask with Witch Hazel & Aloe Vera - Refreshing Lemon Scent (1 Jar) . This one leaves your face feeling o so fresh! Also, what's best is that this exfoliator also doubles as the product you need for step 4 :) Third, a good spot treatment is needed! The standard benzoyl peroxide and salycilic acid treatments tend to stop working before you even finish the first tube so it was hard for me to find one that worked really well. Because I liked the exfoliator so much, I tried TreeActiv+ Tea Tree Oil Acne Solution for Advanced Acne Treatment - All Natural Acne Spot Treatment - Blemishes Gone or Your Money Back! by the same brand and it has worked flawlessly! Fourth, a good mask that helps pull the impurities and bacteria from under the skin is needed about 2 to 3 times a week. Yes MEN, even you guys should use this! My boyfriend doesn't have as bad of an acne problem as I do, but the acne he did have was remedied by just this step alone! TreeActiv Anti Acne & Rosacea Treatment Sulfur Mask Plus Rhassoul, Bentonite Clay Mask with Witch Hazel & Aloe Vera - Refreshing Lemon Scent (1 Jar) is the same product as step 2 but instead of using it as a wash, you apply it to your damp face and let it dry for 15 minutes before using water to wash it off. If you do all 4 of these steps, I promise you'll have much much much clearer skin :)

I have recently switched from using expensive products (CLARINS, or PREVAGE system or Peter Thomas Roth) products...to the Korean skincare routine. The expensive products were not fixing my skin issues... Even though i took Accutane back in the day which fixed my really bad acne, since then I still dealt with break outs, combo skin, bad texture because of moderate acne scarring, redness, and large pores on my nose. I would NEVER leave my house with out makeup on period.... I have a few Korean and Chinese friends and I started asking about how they manage their perfect looking skin. Lo and Behold, the Korean Skincare Routine enters my life. You can get things just as good a quality for half the price out of Korean skincare lines IMO...the system may seem like a lot of work but once you get the routine it really isn't so bad. Why should we take a moment to pamper ourselves? Prior to using this system even with the expensive products i was previously using i was embarrassed of my skin. Now, if I want to the only makeup i really need to do to quickly get out the door is maybe eyebrows and some mascara... My skin has completely turned around. So much so that my boyfriend has had me start using the products on him and a friend asked me to send her the following routine information. Since my friend has been using the korean routine products (with some modification for her aging skin as she is 50) ....She is so impressed as well. I cant be more pleased with this cleanser. I know that skin care products typically fall under the "your mileage may vary"'. That being said this has been a real find for me and the past two weeks of use have provided immediate results. I have incredibly difficult skin. Acne prone (and I am in my 40's) with a sensitivity to the vat majority of products. I struggle with shaving creams, lotions, aftershave, sunscreen etc. Alcohol heavy products cause breakouts same with vitamin e, coconut oil, almond oil and high spf products. Oddly, the Cerave cleanser has glycerin as its second ingredient (and usually glycerin is a no-go) but in this case it has no adverse effects. I have an odd T-zone in that my forehead is prone to dryness and my nose and cheeks are oily. For some reason this cleaner evens both out. When I use the wash alone I can lightly moisturize and the skin looks and feels even. No shine and no dryness. I do use a BHA product a couple of times a week and on those days I do need to use a heavier moisturized on my forehead. The results are outstanding. I have been battling with acne on my temple (assuming this is where I sleep) for several months. This has almost fully cleared up in the last 10 days. As a control I have made no other changes in my routine outside of using this face wash. Its tough to deal with acne as a 40 something professional. I cant express how pleased I am at the current condition of my skin. As I mentioned above, I know that skincare product suitability varies by the individual. But for $10 this is well worth the try.

The gel may smell a bit alcoholic but it’s not, after the wash there’s no smell at all, just like water wash. Works quite well on my combo skin, removes the oil and dirt fantastically. It’s the most value for money brand than some other US, French brands of the same quality. My seller was “beauty cares”.

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser is a great all-round face wash that removes oil, dirt, and makeup without stripping your skin. The foam feels light and refreshing, and the added ceramides help protect your skin’s natural barrier. It’s great for daily use, though if your skin is on the drier side you might want a richer follow-up moisturiser.

Great product...gives a complete clean. Face feels smooth, tight and refreshed.

This product is very useful for me.Although it has no scent, its unique ability to produce a lot of foam when washing the face, leaves the surface smooth and free of oil and dirt even after washing.
