The One You Want is something fresh and offbeat from the typical Showalter novel. Nothing otherworldly exists here...no lords, no angels, no zombies...just some well developed characters that you'll find yourself caring about and rooting for. This novella will leave you with a sense of anticipation for her new series, The Original Heartbreakers. And it's NOT tween either. Dane and Kenna set a tone that smolders and I am so hoping Gena will burn us with The Closer You Come.I enjoyed the other stories in the book as well. Lori Foster is one of my favs and delivers again with Buckhorn Ever After. I've read Susan Mallery a time or two and enjoyed Halfway There. Bella Andre is new to me but One Perfect Night sparked my interest to read more.Overall, I liked the book concept, four writers getting together and putting out a book that introduces a new or continuing series from each. It allows the fans of each author to discover other material they might enjoy and wouldn't have otherwise found. I was attracted to it because I like Gena Showalter. Previously, I doubt I would have picked up a Bella Andre book, but now I might. I'm sure this was the goal. From a marketing stand point I'd like to see more of this type of collaboration. It gives me, as a reader, a choice- Do I want to read more from this author or not?- without me feeling like I've wasted a lot of time and money.

The stories found in this collection were wonderful. Each author has managed to grasp my attention quickly and thoroughly. Lighthearted and fun. While I have several books on my TBR list from Gena Showater, I have not read any until now. Her telling of two injured souls touched me in a way not seen often. I love the way she used the real to tell her story. I shall be sure to grab her books and move them to the top of my Kindle read list.Each story was worth purchase on it's own. Combined together is like being given to a pass of your very favorite foods buffet style. Fun, thought provoking and emotion stirring. There simply are not enough words to describe this. And for those unfamiliar with any or all of these wonderful ladies, this is the perfect sampling of what has the rest of us firmly attached and waiting for the next piece of heaven they share withus.

Fantastic romance bundle. Great selection of authors and easy to follow stories. Distinct storylines, believable characters and enjoyable dialogue.I will re-read these stories and look forward to more works by these authors.

The book was in great shape. And I enjoyed the story.

Loved all the stories in this book. My favorite would be Susan Mallery, but I did love the others as well.

Love these authors!! Read most of them regularly. Was excited to get to read these novellas, and make sense of the stories

only brought this for the Lori foster story, managed to read two others and only liked one of them enough to give this a total of 3 stars
