Inkheart Trilogy

These are the books that made me fall in love with reading as a kid and now as an adult I love reading them with my daughter! No issues with the quality of the books that I’ve noticed. Super excited to have them!

The books are fabulous. Really well written and entertaining. The plot and characters are are amazing. A very interesting read. I would highly recommend the audiobook version voiced by Brendan Frasier. He does an awesome job with narrating the fantasy world.If you want to buy a hardcover book I would not recommend any of the booksellers. The description of the condition with vendors can be misleading and you are left to pay shipping costs in order to get a refund. I had an experience with this particular series. The books were noted to be in good condition-like new, and they were not like new.

Habe das Buch für meine Enkelin gekauft, und habe es dann selbst gelesen. Da ich weder den Film gesehen, noch die deutsche Version gelesen habe, war ich sehr beeindruckt. Die Geschichte ist spannend, originell und sehr flüssig zu lesen. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen, auf eine sehr unterhaltsame Weise, Englischkenntnisse zu beleben. Super, dass Amazon die Version anbietet! Eindeutig 5 Sterne

I did not know this trilogy existed until I saw the film 'Inkheart' advertised on the side of a bus. Knowing that films usually come from books, I had a look on Amazon and found that there was a childrens book of that name and subsequently discovered the other two. I threfore decided to read the books before I watched the film, partly because the book is usually better that the film but mainly because I did not know whether the film would be just the first book or Hollywoods interpretation of all three. A friend at work to whom I always pass on my books, says that the film has a lot of the book missed out; isn't this usually the case.If you have read  The Hobbit  and  The Lord of the Rings , you will know how each volume gets darker as it goes on. Similarly with the Ink* series, the books get darker as they go on and I have unfortunately now got a bit stuck in the middle of Inkdeath; I shall have to leave this for a couple of weeks and then come back to it.Otherwise, highly recommended and good value. Couldn't put these down. Read one after another after watching the movie. Now I'd wish they'd make the rest, A must read.

Das Buch ist super, die Geschichte hat mir total gut gefallen.Allerdings ist das ganze ein bisschen groß und schwer. Wer also auch unterwegs lesen will, sollte die drei Bände lieber seperat kaufen....
