Butterflies Hanging Nursery Mobile - 26 Inches - High Quality Plastic - Handmade in Denmark by Flensted

I already had another Flemsted mobile with swallows over the changing table and was so impressed o got this one for above the crib. I like it even more. It's lovely views from below (by our daughter) and from the side. I was hesitant about the colors shown online, but pleasantly surprised when it arrived. You can mix and match the colors of the large and small wings, allowing some customization. It also came with extra colors to choose from. The material of the wings is like a semi-transparent vellum. Moves gracefully.You do have to puncture some guide holes with a needle in the plastic piece of the body to thread the antenna through. That was a bit of a disappointment, but manageable.

Easy to put together, so whimsical, I watch them as much as the baby I think

If you have time for an arts and crafts style project to assemble this with your child, then great. If you are like me and you don't mind some assembly but need to get it over with and get on with your life, then this is not for you. Also the colors I received did not match the photos. Lots of clear white "colors' instead of actual colors. The colors i received were mostly clear, 2 light green, 2 light blue, 2 light yellow and a set for one red butterfly. In hindsight I would not have bought.

Like the finished, assembled product. Mine arrived tangled, which took some time to sort out. Good thing I enjoy that type of challenge. Assembling the butterflies very easy and they give you at least 8 colors to use. I appreciated others posts about what to expect in material quality. It's not true paper, it's more sturdy , but you don't want your kiddo to get their hands on it. It's well balanced and the butterflies float with a simple breeze. Night it along with a mobile attachment for the crib but it is way too tall. Had to pin it to the ceiling.

I purchased the butterfly mobile for my daughters nursery. It has pale yellow color scheme with pops of bright orange, hot pink, and true yellow. This mobile fit the color scheme perfectly! It comes with two extra butterflies so you can customize it to your color scheme. I didn't use the blue or lilac. It's really magical how they move and my daughter enjoys looking at it while in changing table. The paper is slightly translucent so when you pair up two different colors the overlap creates another color. It's really cool..a work of art. I can see it being in her room as she grows too. It's something special!

I read every thing that was written about it and thought it was mother of pearl when it came it was paper that bothered me not to know first hand it is pretty though

Love this purchase. I was looking specifically for mobiles that were best viewed from below and not from the side (surprisingly difficult to find) and this one was a great modern option. Comes with 8 big and small wing options to mix and match. Wings are made of coated paper, feels almost like plastic. It's very light, almost insubstantial, so it floats around nicely when our A/C unit is running or if we blow on it. My 2 month old LOVES it. He would look at it for a half hour if I left him to it. Great purchase.
