Easy setup and administration, strong, fast wifi signal with good range
We have two Orbi networks in our homes, both easy to install and maintain. We get great signals and little lag. This tri-band unit also handles our VOIP phone system with no complaints. Overall very satisfied.

Orbi PRO is an Amazing Mesh network if you can afford it.
I purchased this Orbi Pro system for my Condo. Older construction that has so many dead spots when using a traditional wireless router. I'm coming from a google wifi mesh system with 4 ap's. The google system is great, super easy to set up and works really well. I was just having issues with one of the ap's always having a weak signal. The system was fairly old so I decided to upgrade. The Orbi Pro system for the most part was easy to set up. my system has 1 Router and 3 (satellites /ap's) I followed all the instructions correctly but one of the AP's was playing "Hard to get" I finally had to run a hard line to it. Once that was done all AP's were found and added to the system. Firmware updates were automatic during the setup by I turned that off for future upgrades. I prefer being ready for it so not having to be forced to update is a welcome feature. The Orbi Pro is like night and day compared to my Google wifi system. The google system is pretty much a set it and forget it system. With the Orbi Pro, there is an abundance of features that can apply. I'll save that for a future update to this review. The range was solid, with no dead spots or low signal areas. One suggestion. When setting this up I found that it was easier to set one AP up at a time, this way you can easily identify and rename each ap.Well thats all I have for now, I will update the review as time goes on. For now things are running smooth.

Covers our yard
So first to know is that this is in my house in two locations and then in two RVs in our Yard. My son chose this and it works satisfactorily but was super expensive I thought. Because of Covid I had to put our adult children out of the house so they could work . They had both lost jobs and moved in but our.house is small and my 80 yo husband has multiple co-morbidities so had to keep them safe. No cable or satellite so. 400 mb internet for streaming and as I said, this covers us satisfactorily. They have between 80–110 mos in each RV but do lose signal at times. Farthest is 60’ from the router. I have over 250 in the house where the router and one satellite is. I still think the price is outrageous which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Easy to set up and maintain. Strong, fast signal. Handles many users.
We replaced the aging extender system at our family lake place - the system often has 25 or more devices hooked up and the house is large with many walls etc. The signal was weak and almost non-existent on the front deck. After setting up the new Orbi system there is just one network (not 4) and it easily handled 40 devices this summer at once. The signal is strong and fast no matter where we are located - on the front deck and even down to the bonfire! We can now work productively at the lake - more reason to to go there! My wife, myself and my two brothers have all had several zoom meetings - even concurrently and the best part is we can do it in privacy anywhere inside or if we can - outside by the lakeshore! We have experienced a few unexplained outages that self correct - we don't now if it is the ISP or the network and twice this summer we had to re boot the system - but it came right back to life with no issues. The satellites are easy and flexible and this system covers some sq ft! Way more than the 10,000 sq ft we were shooting for.

Beware of firmware "upgrades"
Unit was ok when it arrived. First upgrade to firmware added true mesh, not just hub and spoke networking. It also included a bug that caused the router to lock up as soon as DST ended. Netgear came up with a fix - set a job to run at 1am rather than the default midnight. Bug fixed in next firmware update. Unit ran well. Several firmware updates have broken the web interface, thought he unit continues to route. Up until recently, I was a loyal Netgear customer. Their products rarely failed and they replaced the few that did. Based on my experience with this router, I look to other brands in the future.

Soooo much better that G Wifi
I had Google Wifi pods and I had to always be managing the network as it would go in and out and pods disconnect. It just got too frustrating so I thought I would try this and it works soooo much better with greater range. However, setup was frustrating and slow. The towers would not connect right away and I had to try several times but once they did connect I have not had 1 problem with it in 3 months.

Probably overkill, but I couldn’t be happier
Got this Orbi Pro router and 3 satellites and a Netgear CM1000 modem to replace the modem/router combo supplied by Spectrum. Instantly went from sub 100 mbps speeds and devices frequently losing connection to consistent 350-400 mbps (I only pay for 200!) and no devices losing connection so far. I have over 20 devices connected in my home and HATED having to constantly reconnect, so while the Orbi Pro is pretty costly and probably overkill, I don’t regret it one bit. Set up was easy and the WiFi coverage is great. My house and lot are not large, but I get consistent speeds, even at the very edges of my property (literally got a 300 mbps speed test while standing at my back fence line). Couldn’t be happier with the purchases!

Best Wifi mesh
This wifi mesh is excellent. It has excellent range. I have a separate building that's about 40 ft away from the main house which now gets excellent wifi reception. The only complaint I have is that the installation instructions do not provide the best way to install. There are a couple of ways to install them and connect them to the router and pair each of the satellites. The best is through the netgear insight, but that is not at all described in the instructions. As a result, It took me a few hours to get them installed. But since then, I have had no trouble with them at all. I have excellent and stable coverage throughout the house.
