During the installation proccess you will go through the 9 circles of hell and curse everything that you know, and some things that you don't know. The edge parts are specially hard because you will have to be extra precise to make it fit and not leave anything hanging, but with patience and enough focus you can make it work.Putting it more seriously though, the installation was indeed very time-consuming for me because I wanted to make sure that everything was perfect and didn't want to leave any bubbles to chance (although I did leave a few). But in the end, everything was perfect. The skin really adheres to the surface, even the edge pieces, and it feels GREAT to the touch. Some of my friends touched my new 3DS after I applied the skin and they did mention that it was really very nice and comfortable.The upside of the installation proccess is that you can keep trying as many times as you like, as long as you keep refilling the detergent bottle and pulling already applied parts carefully, so you can take your time and make the installation perfect. Made a mistake? Pull it out, spray some solution and try again.After 2 days, not a single bubble was left anywhere and my device is beautifully protected. The screen protectors also don't affect the image quality on the device. I have tested several screen protectors in the past and they always affect the quality of the image somehow: sometimes the colors become less vivid, other times the matte finishing makes everything dull and gray-ish, and so on... With the screen protectors that come in the package I didn't notice any changes in the quality of the image, it looks like there is nothing on the screen.Bottom line is that even though it may take some effort to set everything up, it's worth it! I highly recommend this product and I'm looking into buying a similar one for my Vita as well. Also, their satisfaction guaranteed policy really shows the commitment to the customer - even if you mess up, they will still replace your skin with another one until you get it right. Great product!

I'm gonna start by saying that if you want to install this properly, you are gonna want to set aside roughly 2 hours of your day to do this. Getting everything to stick down with no large bubbles takes time, mainly because the edges of the wrap take a while to regain their adhesion to even start stick down, so you'll have to basically slowly work on them and continuously press them down and align them until to start sticking. Larger bubbles won't go away, but smaller micro bubbles seem to slowly fade over the course of a few days.The skin seems to protect the device well, and if the device already has some micro scratches, this optically fills those scratches in and allows the device to look almost new. The one thing I wish is that it came with a proper squeegee rather than giving you a cloth and requiring you to use something like a credit card. The cloth was difficult to keep on the card in a way that it was tight and didn't bunch up while using.I got impatient towards the end and got a couple bubbles on the top LCD as well as around the buttons. Nothing too major, but I may buy another kit to try to redo a couple areas. Overall though if you set aside time and patience, this product is fairly easy to do and is pretty forgiving thanks to the spray allowing you to place it and align it before the adhesive comes back.Update:A couple days later, even most of the larger bubbles have slowly been able to disappear, and it now looks almost perfect!

2/23/15Skinomi I have to say that you have one of the most difficult skin protectors to install. I got mine for the New 3DS XL " Majora's Mask Limited Edition" and it didn't fit quire right. In top of being difficult, the cuts are wrong. You miss a noticeable cut on the top left when face is close, Your inside skin cover the IR eye sensor of the New 3DS XL, The edges of the face over lap with the other side of the skin and there is no way it could be done right even tho I tried and I'm very good at it. I hope this protector of yours doesn't mess up my Majora's Mask 3DS since is extremely limited! This is the second time I've bought a skin from you and it was wrong too which was for my iPhone 6 Plus. Then you dare to send me a message saying that your cuts are precise and done right...its not. After 10 mins of being installed it bubble up. In this case, is quite difficult to just spray water in the device. I did use some and very little amount because I don't want to have water or solution damage. I'm going to wait 24 hours to see if bubbles goes away but it was another disappointment. LifeTime Warranty doesn't take away the fact I have to do it over if you send me another one. I will keep my post updated and will post pictures. In the mean time, I don't recommend this protector until is fixed and done correctly.
