I love garlic guard. I have the 500ml bottle and it is a great value, I use it almost daily to soak my pellets and freeze dried brine shrimp to make them more palatable and nutritious. Garlic has an immunity benefit for fish and it is also antifungal/antibacterial so it is very beneficial for your fish beyond stimulating feeding instincts for them. I will give a testimonial for this product: I had a fish that was losing color and not eating because he did not like the pellets because he was wild caught. After using this product everyday on their food he is eating again and has a subtle golden glow coming back. I recommend this product, just only use a small amount enough for the pellets to absorb. You do not want to have a garlic guard puddle after an appropriate time soaking, I soak for about 10-15 minutes but it depends on the pellet size and type since freeze dried foods hydrate almost instantly for me. Overall, simple but great product! It's essentially just garlic juice but fish love it and it can indeed get to some picky eaters. To my knowledge this is shelf-stable so no need to refridgerate and it does not expire which is a plus so a bigger size on sale might be a better option in terms of size to sale.

Garlic Guard really works - and so good! I recently received new fish and all of them were infected with bacteria and parasites. Poor little guys- but trying to get them to eat medicated food has been a real challenge. Treating the water is important but some fish treatments need to be ingested and can be really tough on their breathing when dissolved in water. I have tried everything! Even ordering pre-medicated foods but when I added this to the homemade recipe following the package instructions they gobbled it up. (You need a binder like Seachem Focus also available from Amazon) It’s a MIRACLE they’re eating at ALL let alone their medicine!!! The pictures show them going back for more after the initial feeding frenzy. I guess they just couldn’t get enough which is perfectly fine because the dosing is accurate and so easy using the package instructions. I mixed everything together and added Garlic Guard to let the dry mix soak it in just before feeding. They haven’t been eating well and they went crazy for it after adding this product. There’s hope for these little guys yet! Everything Seachem has is top notch and it is all available on Amazon!

My finicky Oscar wasn’t eating the food I bought. I bought this garlic and since then no more finicky fish.

I had three Scats, that I had mail ordered about three months ago and one of them I noticed was stay kind of small and then I realize he wasn’t eating. The local pet shop told me about this product and I mixed it with the food and within a couple of feedings, he was eating and I only had to use it a week. It stimulated his appetite or made him not afraid to eat the flake food. It has a strong garlic smell, but I guess that’s what attracts them to the food..

Pretty much Galic water. I’ve only used a couple days, but fish like it.

This is my go to addition to medicated food for my Discus. They wouldn't touch it without this.

Used this product after my discus fish had hole in the head and was not eating. After medication a great product to soak your fishfood in and its very appetizing to my discus fish. Worth it

I got this for Discus fish that were being picky about eating certain food. Not only that, I wanted to introduce more food, higher protein and this is perfect for all of that. Some fish will take time to get around, this doesn't work right away but as you continue to use it, you'll see better results with each use!
