Great Value, Sturdy Protection for Camera, Qualifies as Personal Item for most Airlines
The case is solid and the ability to customize the padded dividers made this an excellent choice for a travelling camera case. I shoot a micro 4/3 system and have two Olympus camera bodies, three different lenses, and two underwater strobes. All of this will fit with room to spare and the size seems to just fit the size for a personal item for the US airlines that specify one personal item and one carry on. The cameras and lenses are valued at over $3,000 and I hate to check them. I will still need to check the underwater housing and camera tray but they are the most bulky and would never fit in the size requirements for a personal item.I shopped and compared the Nanuk case to the Pelican Air case. I chose the Nanuk over the Pelican case for the following reasons:• Size Pelican's cases were either to large or smaller while the Nanuk 920 seemed to be custom made for the US based airline’s specifications for the personal item which is smaller than the carryon size.• The Padded Dividers, that were ordered fit perfectly, will offer great protection for precious cargo.• The closure system on the Nanuk is so much easier to open & close than the Pelican.• Price the Nanuk case seems to be a much greater value than the Pelican case.

Pelican Who..??? Nanuk probably has the Pelican people worried . . .
...And the folks down at the Pelican plant ought to be ... Don't get me wrong; their products are great (and I own a plethora of Pelican cases) but Nanuk converted me and won me over with a single purchase. In terms of quality and durability, well, sorry Pelican - Nanuk smokes the competition - The best part is the price difference. I was skeptical that Nanuk could even come close as far as quality by offering cases at prices significally lower than Pelican but this has changed my outlook. Now blue collar consumers can own pro cases on a realistic budget - Before it was either you got lucky and found a good deal on eBay or had to save to buy a high quality case. Nanuk changed that for us working class folk. The quality and design exceeds better known name brands on the market, and the 920 is a nifty case that I now entrust with my most valuable camera and lenses for transport and storage. The design and versatility is, simply put, just better. It's not that I was able to save a few bucks and sacrifice quality - I not only saved more $$$ but I found Nanuk to be a better case all around in terms of design, style, weight and durability.PRO / CONS...???Only on a personal level; I wish I would of bought more of these when I was building my case and storage inventory years ago. I'll hold on to my Pelican arsenal, as they are great - But from now on Nanuk is my choice for new inventory as I feel they are far better and superior to Pelican and other pricier cases available ... My advice: Watch for price fluctuation and check options - Rest assured you will not be disappointed with a Nanuk (even if you are a devoted Pelican person) ... Prices fluctuate so often on these that it can sour your mood when you see a drastic price drop - However even if you do pay top price it's still a good investment.

Nanuk 920 w/ dividers + lid organizer
I kinda preferred SKB over Pelican mostly but then got a good deal on this case. Honestly think I like it better than either for the comparable size. Really cool latches and construction. This is like a medium size technical gear organize/transport box. Camera, smaller electronics, weapons optics and attachments etc. whatever you don’t want beat up or wet/dusty. Very versatile and I like the lid pocket/zip compartments. Will definitely be looking at more Nanuk in the future. I think I got this one at almost half off? Pays to watch and wait for price dips on all this stuff. Made in Canada so that’s cool but is definitely reflected in the price. I try to buy US when I can and Canada is a pretty good neighbor that is not known for using slave labor etc. Good gear so far.👍🏼

Best Cases I own! 4 Stars not 5 for Price!
These cases are super premium quality and Price. I get complimented by the production crew on gigs all time. I only buy the ones with dividers and inserts. I give it 4 stars for the inserts i feel are a bit overpriced.

Amazing and sturdy! Perfect for videographers!
The media could not be loaded. The main reason that I purchased this item was because I need a case for all my gear. I am a mobile content creator and I have a lot of gear for my projects and this is the perfect case for it. You don't ever have to worry about where to put your stuff or if you case falls. This case is fully lifeproof. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is creating content on the go.

More attractive, has better latches and nearly as strong as a Pelican case
It might not be as crush-proof as a Pelican since it doesn't have the deep plastic ridges on the side panels, but as a result it's much more attractive. Looks quite professional in silver. Still, you can jump up and down on it and it will protect your delicate stuff.. I wouldn't think twice about checking it in as luggage. The two-step latches are so much nicer than the hard-snapping Pelican latches.I believe the only potential advantages of a Pelican case are the plastic reinforcing ridges on the sides and the metal rings on the lock holes, neither of which Nanuk has, nor do I need.
