Bought this to go round a large fire to stop the child from touching it. All the other guards were made of metal and the poem that was the metal would heat up. It arrived with an awful lot of brown card. Packaging as each piece is separately packaged and took a bit of thinking to put together, but the instructions are very helpful. we presently got it split into as the connections between sections can be pressed and pulled the apart easily repeatedly, so we can store it under a sofa when it’s not in use the thing that would make it better would be little rubber pads under the edge so it stayed in place better on smooth floors. It comes with a set of fixings that go on the wall that are very good but will look a bit out of place , so I’m probably going to put a couple of small hooks on the wall instead and a couple of hook eyes into the ends of the frame so it can just be placed into position. The fact he’s got a very large white door is really helpful, as we can, then open it and open the door to our fire in order to put more fuel in Baby gates like this are a compromise, but I can see us using this now around the fire in the winter and then in the summer, making a movable corral for the child as it’s fairly easy to move around. You can also use it. It’s really long the one we bought to separate one end of a room for another which could be useful , highly recommend

We've managed to close of half of our living room with this and it's been great for giving our baby and dog their own space. Only issue is the gate doesn't open fully and is a bit annoying when trying to walk through it while holding something.

Poor and very difficult to put together and fold. Fingers are covered in blisters

We turned an unused room into a play room/storage room and the fence enabled us to split the room in two. The room width is 330cm and the fence fit as a straight line. Due to it's length if you push against the fence towards the middle it does move however it still has enough sturdiness to be safe. Instructions are easy to follow. You do need a drill if attaching into a brick/timber wall and fixtures are supplied for both. The only information I think could benefit is if the instructions tell you what size drill bit to use for the holes.Overall I am really happy with the feel and look of this and I hope to get some years use from it.
