This is a mostly happy, mixed review.
I bought this brush because I had RIDICULOUSLY filthy, 20 year old, never been sealed, grout in the kitchen and high traffic areas in the house. Part of the house was just mop water build up and that came clean quickly with a plastic grout brush, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. The heavily stained stuff? Nah. Nothing would clean it. The kitchen grout was the worst. Horrid. Regular grout cleaner was a joke (I tried several). I tried all kinds of things. High concentration TSP, bleach, Bar Keeper's Friend, you name it. I was wearing through plastic brushes like crazy and having to vigorously scrub. Frustrated by the process and not wanting to spend the money on getting 3,000 sf of tile regrouted (which is what a lot of it needed), I went looking for a stronger brush. I was ready to try anything. I was very excited to find demonstrations of the use of this brush with a degreaser on youtube here: [...]v=IJeiR4qclVY He actually answered my questions via email and was a thoroughly lovely man. I bought the brush and the degreaser. It worked better than anything I had tried (except Finazzle Grout Cleaner which is no longer made). Here's the downside. I have light grout. When you scrub the grout with this stainless brush, the brush wears away just like a plastic brush does. It takes longer to wear down and scrubs better, but it leaves a dark mess of stainless gray residue on the grout. If the grout isn't kept swimming in water, it settles on the grout and you have to then scrub again with plastic brush to remove the stainless gray color left on the grout. I think with dark grout this won't matter too much, but with light grout it's a pain. If you'll notice, in the video above, his brush does not do this. Maybe it's a better quality brush and this one on amazon is a cheaper version? I don't know. But the brush Mr. Ross uses in the video above didn't make the mess the amazon brush sold by Groom did. Next time, I'm going to buy a brush from Mr. Ross and hopefully find that it works like the brush in the video. So, if your grout is not that dirty... stick with the plastic brush. Less work. But... if your grout is overly stained and hideous like mine was, even with having to do an extra cleaning to get rid of the stainless scrub water after you use the stainless brush... this still saves time and muscle ache. I would recommend it. The design is terrific, too. Gets right up to the edge of the grout where it meets the baseboard. It's a nicely made brush compared to the plastic ones sold all over the place and here on amazon. I had to have my dad put a bolt through the hinge of my two plastic brushes to keep them from popping off with vigorous scrubbing. This brush, though you can't really tell from the photo, already has a bolt through the hinge. It's not going anywhere. Every once in a while you'll need to tighten it back down with the little screw knobs on the side, but it's no big deal. Also - when you wear the brush out, you can order just a triangular replacement brush part next time, instead of ordering a whole new one. Overall, I do like the brush. :)

Excellent way to clean grout
A little elbow grease and my grout is as clean as it was when first installed. I used rejuvenate grout cleaner but I think I probably could have used simple green or windex and achieved the same result. Will try that next time.I've used electric scrubber/buffing machines and never gotten a result that was anywhere near this clean. Need a good mop or shop vac to clean up dirty water off tile when you're done and that's about it.

Great Tool
Worked great for a job I had that the grout was full of grease. Only complaint was that it wears pretty quick. Did a job that was 2000sqft and one side wore down almost to nothing.

This works great! The only thing I have to worry about ...
I own a carpet and tile cleaning company and there are a lot of jobs where the grout just requires a little more umph to cut through the grease and grime. This works great! The only thing I have to worry about it scrubbing to hard because the bristles are so strong I could end up scratching the tile or pulling the grout out!
