Does the job- but Cheap, blunt and not great for splitting
The craftsmanship here is cheap- but that reflects in the priceThe blade is ground to its edge absolutely horribly, and has gauge marks where they have attempted to file an edgeThe rest of the hammer is constructed alright- but very rough - however for the price what do you expect.Not great for splitting smaller logs either, just seems to glance off. You will need to sharpen this as it is blunt

AGE-RESTRICTION POLICY????
You have to laugh ...... I ordered a cheap cutlery-set, of which Amazon's policy being that this item is 'Age Restricted' ....... I also ordered a hand AXE ....... a very SHARP hand-axe (I do a lot of bushcraft/wild-camping stuff) and there was NO AGE-RESTRICTION on this item! The delivery-driver just dumped it on the step and buggered-off!! Come on Amazon, get your act together - I could've been a 17 year-old!

OK but does not arrive terribly sharp
Looks fine, works ok but not brilliant. Not very sharp

Decent axe with good grip . Bit on the heavy side though. Not that sharp out the box but easily sharpens with a file.

Very good
Blade could be sharper, but otherwise excellent. I'd recommend purchasing a sharpening stone as well.

It arrived blunt! Well and truly blunt.
