For the price in comparison to RockTape Rockblades it is a steal, however the rock tape rock blade is heavier and slightly more smooth along the massage blade.Most people don't have the luxury to pay over 450 dollars for the rocktape set.In careful and gentle hands this serves its purpose. My wife suffers from a lot of neuromuscular issues, and trying to masage all those knots wears a thumb out. This Guasha tool has great weight to it, so I don't have to apply a lot pressure to get at those knots with the different edges. The scraping sides are quite effective but doesn't scrape the skin or is painful to the touch. I can utilize this tool for half an hour or more without my hand cramping or feeling tired. we've had it for several years and it still looks practically brand new if you take care of it.
