The Corcom 1EF1 EMI inlet filter had been previously removed on my used 2215 Tektronix oscilloscope, so I added this, which has a better rating than the Corcom, which is now discontinued. This fits fine and seems to work well.

This was a replacement for the original that had broken. It fit perfectly. The female plug fit good and I like that it has a metal back to it.

I have been repairing an older (solid state) bass amp that had a direct AC cable out with no remaining strain relief. Instead of keeping the old design, I decided to use this unit to add a touch of modularity and cut back on AC noise that sometimes crops up with this amp. After a little metal work, this bolted in and clipped directly to the spade connectors already in the wiring harness. Not only is the AC cable now modular, the EMI works perfectly and the few noises that sometimes crept in are gone. Totally worth the money.

Minus a star because I had to source my own screws.Other than that, it works. Who knows if the power line filtering does any good, but since it was going in an old receiver, I figured it couldn't hurt.It's deep, so make sure your equipment has the necessary space inside.

I bought this to eliminate hum & static on my kitchen clock radio that was coming from other appliances (I put it on the radio). It eliminated both the hum & the static noise.

Very well made panel EMI filter line socket. Best way to add your line voltage input to a project.
