I absolutely devoured that book and read it in the space of a day. This book, however, was difficult to read. The narrative often jumped from one time period to another, making it very difficult to follow. It felt less like a memoir and more like fiction. I understand that names and events may not be included or changed for legal reasons, but when I choose to read a 'memoir', I would expect that it read as such and whole conversations not be included merely for the sake of narrative. Saying that, if you are a fan of Holly and enjoyed watching 'Holly's World', you would likely get something out of this book. There are some interesting tidbits peppered throughout the story that make it worthwhile reading. I love Holly, but this book was just not as juicy as I expected. Review: Good read. I like the book. - Holly Madison's books are written with good style and organization. When watching the "Girls Next Door" I suspected already that Holly is much smarter then the rest of the girls. I mean she and Bridget. The Vegas Diaries is the continuation of the "Down to the Rabit Hole". They are both a pleasure to read or listen to. Holly is reading both in the audio versions. She does have a great diction. The Vegas Diaries book describes her effort to recover from abusive relationsip living in the Mansion. Good style, well organized chapters, perfect for self help for any girl or a woman, going through the breakup. Obviously needs to be addapted to realistic circumstances if one is not an actres in the show business.

Enjoyed This Very Much
I remember watching The Girls Next Door and not responding to Holly who seemed cool and detached vs. Bridget and Kendra who seemed warm and effusive. Little did I know what was going on behind the scenes. I was so surprised reading Holly's memoir of living in Hef's mansion. Surprised at what went on and surprised to find her such a good writer and so likeable. I just loved that book. Not just because it was the inside dope, but because of her honesty about herself. I enjoyed her thinking, how she viewed things, her personality. I really enjoyed this memoir, too, although I didn't really feel her life experiences for those years were hefty enough to quality writing another memoir. But I read the book non-stop. She's so engaging. Again, she was so honest. I liked when she wrote about wondering what people thought of her and trying to figure out what was going on behind her back and worrying about how things were misinterpreted or entirely fabricated about her life. At first, I thought, Man, she's obsessed with what people think. But then I thought back to when I was younger and I for sure went into obsessive mode. So human! She changed and grew from her experiences. She grew. (Hate to sound so therapist-y.) I adored the ending. I definitely recommend this to fans of Holly, people who like to be a fly on the wall of celebrity life, especially in Vegas.

Adore Holly and how far she's come
I adore Holly and I loved her first book. However, this one was a little hard to stay interested. I buzzed through some pages because I just wasn't at captivated by the dating scenarios. Mostly I think it's because I was rooting for Holly to get to her happier endings. I'm glad I read this book though! If she ever writes another I will definitely read it.

Really liked this book.
I've always thought Hugh Hefner and Playboy treated women badly (Hefner's sex habits were so gross). But I love Holly. She's smart, honest and humble. Bless her for telling the truth about her life and about Playboy. What a survivor!

Awesome read
This book was awesome! Just as good as the first one but better! I love how she words things and tells the story. Holly will keep you glued to the book from page 1. This book is how she managed to escape the horrible lifestyle of the Playboy mansion and into this amazing life she made for herself. It was a journey that she made you feel you had taken with her. I only wish that she would have gone into how she met her husband and how she found out she was pregnant. I NEED more info! I love reading her books.

Insightful, inspiring and a great read.
This inside glimpse to Holly's struggle and determination as she pursues a new life for herself in Las Vegas is not only inspiring, but it gives a genuine perspective on reality tv, the pressures and drama she went through, and allows us to truly see that not all that glitters is gold. Her writing is open, honest and has a great sense of humor. It keeps you interested and continually wanting to read more.

Nice read. Not sure why people are giving bad reviews. I thought it was well written, funny and thoughtful. Would recommend.

Enjoyed this book more than I expected to. I loved reading Holly’s insight into life in Vegas and noting places to go on my next visit. The book also all tied in very well at the end.
