Clifford / Larger Than Life

The Clifford movie is really good, especially if you are a fan of Mr. Glick. Anyway, Clifford is a bit intense for young children for 2 reasons:1. There is vivid breast nudity for about 30 seconds when Clifford's uncle walks in to talk to Clifford while he is watching an African tribe 'documentary' on TV.2. The intensity of hatred by Clifford's uncle toward him is very strong; almost too strong, but it is part of the overall message. The show begins with Clifford at an old age and as a priest in a boys' home.The Larger Than Life movie is a dud. The elephant is interesting and loveable, but Bill Murray 'acts' too much. The scene at the airport with the truck driver feels like 5 minutes and is 4 1/2 minutes too long. The truck driver acts too hyper to be believed and mumbles rapidly to the point you almost hear some foul words (hard to tell).

I purchased this dvd primarily for "Larger than Life". I had seen it partially on television and fell in love with the story. I love animals, and the big elephant is the best character in the story. Bill Murray does a wonderful job as the main human character who now has the responsibility of caring for this diminutive inheritance: the elephant. Mr. Murray's dry sense of humor and acting style are perfect for the role. It is funny, clean, enjoyable for all ages and I considered it delightful enough to purchase the dvd. I have no memory of ordering this, but Clifford is one of my all time favorite movies so I aint even mad, I am glad I drank wine that night. "I'm sorry, Miss Nice Older Person, but I don't know what you're talking about. Perhaps you were just having a nightmare about your early days in the circus." One of the best movies of my childhood.

I bought this DVD for the movie Clifford if you are a fan of Martin Short it is a must for your collection his portrayal of the 10 year boy from Hades is priceless and a very enjoyable family friendly film.The Bill Murray film Larger Than Life is OK but it is a typical film role for him._ If you want to watch a fun cleverly acted film with your family I would highly recommend Clifford and I not a fan of this type of film where an adult portrays a child but Martin Shorts performance is priceless

I bought this for Larger Than Life, because it was cheaper than buying another version of the movie on it's own. I had never seen Clifford before, although I had heard of it now and then.Larger Than Life was fun to watch again after all these years. I watched with my nephew who had never seen it and he thought it was funny as well. I think I remembered it being much better and more funny than it actually was, but I'm glad I have a copy of it and it's something I'll watch again in the future.Clifford on the other hand was about the most boring thing I've ever seen. I like Charles Grodin and I like a lot of movies Martin Short was in also, but this was just horrible! It was slow, not in the least bit funny and dragged on forever! I will not be watching this one again and I'm glad it was not the reason I bought this copy to begin with.

Clifford is a hidden gem of a comedy. It's target audience is adults, but was aimed towards children. 5/5 stars and you can watch it a bunch of times and still laugh as hard as u did the first time. The other film is ok, and has a funny Matthew McConaughey. 3/5 stars.

Came on time and was actually a 10 in 1 family movie pack with the 2 pictured so I give it a 5 star

Larger than Life is one of Bill Murray's best works, even if an oldie. A well directed and well acted story, simple and that rings true. A jewel.

2 amazing movies for 9 bucks delivered to the door. cant go wrong with that. always think about that movie clifford ..brightens the day with how hillarious martin short is... then i saw that they had this combo pack of movies with bill murray and the elephant and had to get it right away. 2 of the best

Hilarious

Just wanted to briefly touch on the specifications of this release.Both movies come on one single-sided DVD. Both only have an english audio track. No subtitles. Both are 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen. No special features. For what it is, picture and audio quality of both movies is OK.
