Studying Engineering: A Roadmap to a Rewarding Career 3rd Edition

I bought this book for an introduction to engineering class - I thought this would be a "blow-off" class, but it was not. Independent of the class however, this book is great! I dropped out of highschool, got my GED, went to community college, dropped out of that, and now 8 years later am going to university; this time, I am committed. Whether you are a drop-out or a high-school graduate, this book will teach you new things. Not only new things, but very important things. If you want to succeed in school, not just barely make it, this book will be incredibly helpful if you take it to heart. Bottom line: I plan on keeping this book long after the class is done. I have not read the entire book, but have read about 20 - 30 pages and found that the book is just what I wanted. I have three sons that are all studying Physics and plan to move into the Engineering Field in Graduate School. This book will give them lots of useful information.

The book is more like a studying partner adviser, giving you tips on how to become a better student in general, with an engineering mentality perspective. Gives pretty good advice too. And maybe i'd have something better to write if i actually read the book like i was supposed to for my engineering course... good luck to those getting the book!

Most likely you're buying this book because it's "required" by some freshman level introduction to engineering seminar/class. You'll never use this book, it's a waste of money, it contains only common sense advice and you shouldn't buy it!
