★ LOADS OF GOOD QUINOA PREP TIPS ★ BUT NOT SO MUCH ON WEIGHT LOSS ★
I actually liked this book and would have given it 4 stars, had it NOT said "Weight Loss" in the Title. Quinoa is a wonderful, healthy food choice. It's packed with nutrients and this book is loaded with some excellent tips on it's preparation. But, weight loss? I have tried quinoa for weight loss and sadly to say, I gained 4 pounds. Also, other people I've known didn't lose weight. It is still a starch. But, a healthy starch and one that can be included in a healthy diet plan. Just don't think you're going to lose tons of weight on it. I didn't. You might be made different. I can only say what worked and didn't for me. A lot of people say that beans make them gain weight, but if I make a soup with beans in it and eat that for one of my meals each day (I put some meat and lots of veggies in it) I lose about 2 pounds a week. If I just didn't get sick of soup after about 3 weeks. So, what works for one person, doesn't always work for another. But, I do recommend this book for the preparation tips and ideas the author presents. It just didn't work for weight loss for me. Thank you for reading my book review.

This is not a recipe book
This is an advertisement for a weight loss program that you have to spend extra for. The first part of the book is a link to this program. Then you get the recipes. They aren't recipes, they are ideas, you have to figure out how to actually make the item. Though, it does often tell you to tip things out of the pan.

This cookbook taught me how to prepare great Quinoa meals and they taste great!
Not long ago, I decided to try Quinoa yet had no idea how to cook this and to make a rich and satisfying meal with it. This is where this cookbook comes it. And upon reading it, I found so many things to love about it:+ Most of the recipes I love in this book and they don't take long to prepare.+ Here are some of my favorite recipes: Quinoa and Corn and Beans, Turkey Salad with Quinoa, Summer Salad, and Traffic Lite Quinoa.This is an excellent cookbook as it has wonderful recipes and also teaches about the benefits of eating QuinoaHighly recommend this cookbook!

Quinoa is a known food among health enthusiasts just about everywhere.The benefit involves its non-gluten character. The author goes intoa chapter and verse level of detail explaining how to cook quinoacorrectly so that there is no sour taste.The salad recipes are all appealing with delicious herbs interspersedthroughout. i.e. cinnamon, anise and many others40 Top Quinoa Recipes is an excellent book for dieters looking toreplace the gluten macaroni preparations with a substance whichis far less damaging in both caloric content and inflammatory impact.The book is well worth the price.

A must have for folks trying to get healthy.
I didn't even know how to properly pronounce the grain let alone what it was, how to use it, etc. This is a simple, easy to follow "cook" book, but starts by explaining the grain in simple terminology. Anyone who is trying to eat a healthier diet will benefit from this book. I got interested in finding alternatives when my grandson was diagnosed with celiacs disease (not sure how to spell that), and we began looking for gluten free alternatives... they are not easy to find and very expensive! This grain is packed with nutrients, is gluten free and there are lots of recipes in this book to help people that need gluten free alternatives.

Recipes are good but nothing special
I got this as a free DL, so maybe I shouldn't be too surprised. This was my first BAD experience with a Kindle eBook. I just didn't like that within the first few pages, they tell you to go to this website, which ends up being a come-on to buy into something. I pretty much stopped there, I got the eBook because I wanted to learn new Quinoa recipes, but the link within the eBook left a bad taste. The only recipe I used was the first one which is a basic quinoa recipe, so I could have and SHOULD have just "Googled" or "Binged" a recipe. Next time, I will.

All you need for great quinoa!
This cookbook offers unique recipes that are easy to make with recognizable, healthy ingredients and normal cooking skills. The author offers tips and different ingredients at the end of each recipe to change it up or to accommodate a vegan diet. The book explains what Quinoa is and even how to pronounce it. It is conveniently sectioned by Salad, Sides, Main and Dessert recipes. Also, there is an offer to download 5 free weight loss reports which I haven't done because as a Vegan, weight loss is not an issue. I am glad I came across this eBook for Quinoa recipes on Amazon. It is so worth it!

Gives a newbie to quinoa some good ideas.
I have done some Googling of quinoa recipes, but it was fun to see them all in a similar format. They each looked eminently doable, and there was sufficient variation to fit most people's interests.
