Amazing Turntable
This turntable is very well made, and is machined to high tolerances. For certain lighting conditions, it's difficult to tell when it's actually spinning. It is very quiet, and very smooth. I use it to photograph shapes made using Zen Magnets. It works very well.

Turntable was shaky - not good for my video purposes
This turntable consistently jolted every time the item went around, once per rotation. For my purposes (filming) I could not use this item without putting a lot of weight (some books) on the turntable, in order to minimize the bumpy movement. This wasn't part of my plan, as I wanted to have the white round turntable top showing in the video.I managed to get through the shoot, but I sent this thing back. I don't know if this was a defect or part of the design/acceptable amount of error... but I will not be buying from here again.

Expensive, low quality, and imprecise, but it at least works.
Unfortunately, while it can 'get the job done' it doesn't do so very well at all, especially for the price. The table I received rotates once per 20 seconds, faster than the listed "one or two times a minute", which, in and of itself, is quite a broad measurement, given the fact that one would hope to be capturing precise and consistent photos or videos with the device. Additionally, it cannot support even two pounds without ceasing to spin, far from the labeled 15.The entire device seems like it was made on the cheap, being simply a piece of particle board that's painted on one side, hooked up to a simple electric motor, with only a flimsy plastic bearing assembly sandwiched between the two (I even got a splinter from the _plastic_ as a piece of it broke off when I picked up my unit today). The device features no speed control and rotates at a fairly inconsistent pace. While it might just be my unit, (and considering the build quality, this kind of variance is probably present across all units...) I think it's safe to say that given the price tag, you might as well spend that money on something else that spins around and jury-rig your own device, unless you're looking for something more precise, or your time is more valuable than the hundred dollars this thing costs, in which case I'd recommend finding another product that's a bit more fully featured and reputable.

Great for 3d photography
I purchased this turntable to create 3d photos of some sneakers that I was selling. The 9' is a bit small for most sneakers but I was able to add a piece of white cardboard on top to make the surface area larger. The turntable handled reasonably sized shoes well 10 and smaller, but It did struggle a bit turning when larger shoes were placed on it. I could never really figure out why the turntable would rotate in a different direction at times when turned off and turned back on...but then again I didn't read the directions either. Overall this was a solid device and it worked well for what i needed it for.

Worth its price.
It holds my 6 lb project well. I do like how it can spin either way just by turning it on and off. And its reasonably quiet.

pretty quickly it had a spot on the rotation that would bump. And when you have something on top and it bumps, the object jiggles, and it doesn't help the shot.

A poor performer in the "Plastic Era"
The unit rotates randomly in a counterclockwise direction upon power activation. Performance was tremulous in a couple of occasions while used in a short period of time. The turntable is constructed with low quality plastic materials and it feels like you're holding a prototype of a child toy. This is not the type of product that can be used with confidence.

wish I could adjust the speed
It's a fantastic turntable, well worth it's price, but I wish I could adjust the speed some. I may look into some parts to add that feature :)
