Sencha is the real deal for green tea ๐ต lovers
Tastes top notch. I was getting Sencha from another source, but then all they carried after a while was Hojicha. A tiny bit of maple syrup in there and you have yourself a fine cup of tea.

mircoplastics...
the bags they used for all the ones that aren't loose leaf are plastic bags. most businesses use mirco-plastics so i don't fault them THAT much for using the standard but i would heavily advise people to avoid tea bags that use plastics!!! the health benefits from green tea do not out-weight the costs that come from using plastic. i melted the bag just to double check and it made a burnt plastic ball instead of an ash heap if it were paper.

Smooth Gentle Flavor and Highlight of the Morning
I usually use whole leaf tea, but was looking for convenience and found this wonderful japanese green sencha as compostable tea bags. The tea is smooth and flavorful, not bitter, and is a beautiful color. Some bits form at the bottom of the cup and I know they impart some extra benefits. I steep the tea bag in my cup for a minute and use that bag again later, the seconds are not very bitter in my opinion. The flavor overall is excellent and I enjoy being able to get the benefits of this tea so easily. I use the spent bags to fertilize my plants outdoors. I look forward to this tea each morning.

GOOD SENCHA TEA
I have purchased this brand of Sencha tea before and liked it. When I ran out of another type of tea, I reordered this Sugimoto Sencha. It has a very fresh flavor, not too strong, but definitely "there". I like that it's Japanese tea. My only wish is that is was organic, but it's wonderful tea that I enjoy every morning. I don't drink coffee, so this starts my day off on the right foot. Reasonable price. I ordered 3 packages this time!

Not the same flavor as the loose leaf tea.
Even the loose leaf tea has changed flavor over the last several months. The price kept increasing, so I tried these. Very fine bits of leaves, and a lot of powder. Worse, the flavor is quite stem-y and grassy (as in yard grass, not epicurean "grassy"). It is a green tea in that it is not roasted, but the flavor is peculiar.

Very good taste
I would highly recommend this tea. Sent some to my brother also and he likes it very much. Has very good taste. Sugimoto offers a very good line of Japanese green tea. Would order again.
