Compatible with X2HR
I don’t usually write reviews but I noticed it wasn’t listed that this is compatible with Phillips X2HR, which I bought it for to replace the extra long cable it came with. Great quality, included quarter inch adapter also screws in nicely unlike the stock Phillips cable which doesn’t screw in, sticks out awkwardly and can be annoying when unplugging.

Worked Well, Not Supremely Durable
It's a braided aux cable, basically. The braided sleeve on the outside is plastic, similar to what you might see in a Custom PC's stock Power Supply Unit's cables. It doesn't make for the most flexible wire, even if it's decently durable. I didn't find mine to be terribly tangle resistant, but I never had it get knotted on me or anything...The only problem I had was that the 3.5mm jack that goes into the headphone started to... bow out, I guess, at the first black band. Like, it developed a lip and started to separate from the insulation. While this didn't cause an operational failure, I knew it was scraping away at the inside of my headphone ports, and also that my cable now had a structural weakness. Ended up tossing the cable in the recycling, but it worked well for about 6-7 months of pretty much constant swapping. I also never had a problem with the threaded end.Used with Philips SHP-9500/S, Fostex T50RP (though looked dumb as it's not right angle), Fostex T60RP, and a modded Monoprice Retro. Tested in cars, and with several amps/Sources. Worked great until I noticed the issue. Still deserves accolades for the price and overall quality. It's a great length for portable use. Plus, I'd buy it again if I didn't now have several (softer) fabric-wrapped cables.

Works as it should.
Works like it should. It has nylon braided wire and each end has a metal spring to reduce kinking the cable at the ends.

Nice
Good heavy, sturdy cord. Fit my headphones perfectly. Great replacement.

Started breaking down within a few weeks of purchase
Cable now only works if rotated a certain way in the port (regardless of what device), poor durability even for price

Great replacement cable from the stock cable I got with my AKG 7xx headphones. The coil spring on each end plugs helps greatly in making sure the cable to the plug connector doesn't bend dramatically.
