Makes a good backboard. I use it in my lazy boy, which is terrible for your back. My doc said to stop sitting in it as it forces your head forward and curves your shoulders in. This reinforces the bad posture most of us have all day at our phones and computers. The board makes a flat surface for your back so you don't sink into the chair as much. Seems to be sturdy particle board, so it should last. Not sure what its like to sit on.

This board is okay, but slides around sometimes hitting the wheelchair wheels and need to adjust the seat. I think for the price, better get Home Depot to cut a board to size -- much cheaper and works just fine.
