Finally, a completely comfortable thumb support that I can wear all night in bed. Fantastic value for money and the thumb is supported right to the end. This is the cheapest support I have tried for a trigger thumb and definitely the best

At last - a support that stops my painful triggering - support goes past the joint and finger held rigid and supported by the metal - pretty well made but will gently hand wash - I take it off if not using hand to gently exercise the joint as I’m waiting for trigger release surgery - comfortable to wear and I can use my hand more without the pain of triggering - highly recommended

I needed a thumb splint to keep my thumb straight after developing severe trigger thumb. This splint did the job well. I have very large hands so it was slightly small and didn’t wrap round the wrist like the pictures show, but rather round the bottom section of my hand as well as a little bit of wrist. It wasn’t a huge problem but would have been a little more comfortable had it been slightly larger or come in a larger size. The splint kept my thumb straight without making it so rigid I couldn’t do anything. Had to buy a couple of replacements as one or two shrunk in the wash. The stitching wasn’t finished well on a couple of the ones I bought either (I bought several as I was wearing them 24/7 and needed enough to wear whilst others were in the wash). My hand got a little hot at times, but it was summer. Overall though it did a good job of protecting my thumb until I was able to get it successfully treated. The splint, unlike others, reaches the top of the thumb so I didn’t experience any nasty, painful bends of the middle joint. Overall I would recommend this splint.

The media could not be loaded. Love this. I have been overdoing the knitting over lockdown and the joint on my thumbs, especially on the right hand, are causing me pain. This splint is great at keeping my thumb straight so that I can carry on knitting ;) but has a little bit of flexibility so I can do other fiddly jobs without pain. Like unscrewing bottle tops and turning on the oven.It is comfortable and easy to apply with Velcro so you can put it as tight or as slack as you want and it'll likely fit various sizes of hands.This type of splint is nearly 3 times the price in a very well known UK chemists but I can't compare as I didn't buy one.

It is a comfort and real support. The only weaknesses is the velcro, it does not stick peticulary well after a few washes.

For the price these are unbeatable. They help support all three of the thumb joints.I work in specialised heavy manual construction so they get a pounding.Inevitably the thumb strap and stitching around the internal strut wears out but I simply replace this with adhesive tape.Have tried more expensive supports but there's no point because inevitably the straps etc on those break too.They're comfortable to wear all day.

I did not want to give it even 1 star, this might fit a small child?? Will not fit up my thumb if it did will not fit round my wrist, biggest waste of money, disgusted with the store that sent it to me.

Diese Bandage habe ich jetzt schon zum zweiten mal gekauft, da sich der Termin zur OP noch hinzieht. Ich habe mir einen sog. Schnappfinger (Daumen) "zugelegt", was sehr schmerzhaft ist. Zuerst hatte ich eine andere Orthese, eine vom Arzt verschrieben, wo aber bei mir das erste Daumenglied frei war und es da immer zu unbewusstem, aber sehr schmerzhaftem Beugen kam.Hier die Bandage schließt bei mir den Daumen komplett ein, den Rest der Hand/Finger kann ich normal bewegen, man ich also nicht komplett eingeschränkt damit. Am PC schreiben ist soweit auch kein Problemm ansonsten merkt man halt, dass der Daumen "fehlt".Leider fehlen Angaben wie man diese Bandagen waschen kann, da sie nach einer Zeit doch etwas unangenehm riechen (wie einlänger getragener Gips z.B.). Da ich die Bandage nun nicht per Hand waschen kann, fehlt mir die Angabe, ob es auch mit der Waschmaschine möglich ist.

Attelle conforme, elle tient bien, je l'ai acheté afin de mobiliser le pouce en entier, ce qui est le cas, car en pharmacie les attelles s'arrêtent au nouveau le la 2ème articulation et avec cette attelle là ce n'est pas le cas, et cela évite d'en avoir une qui me bloque le poignet. Je m'en sers pour le pouce gauche, j'ai même racheté une 2ème attelle en rechange quand je laverai l'autre, en attendant ma visite à sos mains qui sera dans 3 mois. très bien et confortable et tient très bien le pouce je recommande. Pas déçu de mon achat.
