Cat's Nest/the Best Cat Bed (Simple)

I really liked the idea of the cat dome, and one of my cats is named Thunder so we've been calling it the ThunderDome. The cats loved it as kittens, and they continue to enjoy it so much that the don't allow it to be out from under the bed. When we pull it out and put it near the cat tree or on the couch, they drag it back under the bed and sleep in it.We chose this one especially because it was cheaper than the felted domes and we weren't sure the cats were going to like it. After buying a felted cat toy, I'm really glad we didn't get a felted cat dome because the cats absolutely destroyed the felt layers in the toy, and I'm sure it would happen to the expensive domes as well.

The liked the concept of this bed, but it wasn't a hit with my cats. They occasionally go inside it, but not for any extended period of time. The base of the bed (if there is one - it's difficulty to tell) isn't stable. The bed has to be propped up against the wall or something otherwise it sits awkwardly. I'm not sure if that's the reason why my cats don't use it much.

Fragile item. When it arrived, I put it in the washing machine (no agitator) with some small towels and blankets, cold water, no bleach, etc. A large rip developed. Not sure how you're supposed to keep it clean, other than spot cleaning. It's a nice concept, but I'll choose a different item for future cat beds.

I was pleasantly surprised with how soft and supple the cat bed is. It's not really cheap, so I was expecting high quality and I'm pretty happy with it. The cat has been in it a couple times. He's a big cat (19 lbs) and fits in it fine. He sticks his head out but I think he just likes to do that. He enjoys enclosed spaces.Looks exactly as it does in the pictures. I find it more attractive than most cat beds which is nice.

This cat nest is well made. It's not made from cheap electrocuting fleece in some ugly, cheesy print. The interior is soft, the exterior is a sturdy chambray type fabric. If you're somewhat design sensitive, you will enjoy looking at it. It took our cat two weeks to get interested in it. The circular shape causes it to be somewhat rocky, but if you nest it in an armchair or corner, it stays put. It also flattens out after your cat starts napping in it all day.

This product is exactly what my giant cat Cap'n was looking for! He loves it, might have to buy one for Tinkerbell too-but she is much less adaptive than he is. The product is nicely made, though I did not realize it was made in China. That being.said it is lovely and beautifully made. I will look for locally made cat nests though if I do decide to get another one! :)

Very cute and well-made. My cat is still sniffing it out to see if she likes it.

My small dog likes it better than my two cats. Neither will go inside but at least one of them will occasionally sit on top.
