I buy the whole Nioxin system but run out of the leave-in treatment. I now buy extra of the leave-in treatment, so I always have it. I have been using this system for about 4 years now. I am 64 and lost a lot of hair during menopause and afterwards due to an allergic reaction. I tried supplements, shampoos, and a lot more expensive stuff. I stuck with the Nioxin because of a review that I read at the time that said it would take time and not to get disappointed if you didn't get results in the first month or two. I honestly did not get real results until maybe 8-9 months. However, after using it for a year my hair was doing so much better. Now I constantly get compliments on how full and beautiful my hair is. I was not one to cut my hair off when it started going grey and I feel assured that the Nioxin helped it to grow faster so I got all grey quicker. My hair is below my bra line and is full and soft. I owe it to the Nioxin and will keep using it. The shampoo and conditioner are very nice, but it is the leave-in treatment that helps the most.

I’ve been using the Nioxin System 2 Treatment for about a month now, and it has become a staple in my routine for addressing thinning. As a student in the medical field, I appreciate that it uses Niacinamide and Biotin to strengthen the hair shaft rather than just coating it. The leave-in is lightweight and provides a refreshing, tingly sensation on the scalp without making my hair feel greasy. It actually gives my fine hair a bit of immediate "lift" at the roots. If you have natural hair (not chemically treated) and are seeing progressed thinning, this is a much more professional-grade option than typical drugstore thickeners.

I don't know what the "secret sauce" is here, but I like it. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I am convinced that there is definitely some magic, maybe even voodoo behind this product. The product requires shaking the small bottle each time, as it is dispensed as a foamy mixture. Personally, I don't overwhelm my hair with it but I work enough into the top and sides. I have noticed slightly more fullness in it, no exaggeration. Usually during the winter, hair growth and thickness aren't as high as the summer, at least for me and here, I noticed the different in quality.

Great stuff. Love this product and I will continue using it. Since I've used it, not only has there been zero hair at the bottom of the drain (zero! how can that even be possible?) but my hair dresser noticed new growth. I was skeptical at first, but then I saw what she was talking about. You have to keep using it though, don't take any breaks. If you don't wash your hair frequently it sucks a little because you still need to apply it to dry hair (if you didn't wash that day) and it can be a little sticky. So I apply it at night, then use a blow dryer. Or...wait for it to dry all the way and brush it through and blow dry again or use a flat iron. I used the shampoo and conditioner the first 11 months (along with this) and now I've been using only this for 2 months and it seems to be the same but it's possible the combination of the shampoo and conditioner all those months helped my hair more. I'll know after another 6 months or so. If there's breakage or hair falling out, I will definitely add to this review so people know the shampoo and conditioner need to work along with it. I'll add that I have hair that isn't that noticeably thin (to others) but I still use the number 2. It's hard to say what my hair is because I totally think my hair is thinning and falling out near the top of my hair and the sides, but it may not be noticeable to others. Anyway, great product! I only this product other than an organic hair strengthener that I just bought a month ago. I have hormonal changes and it still works for me, if that helps. I'm careful when brushing my hair and try to eat very healthy foods in addition to using this product.

I first noticed piles of my hair in my bed EVERY MORNING!! Then clogging the vacuum and when I brushed my hair I was left with a SINK FULL OF HAIR !!! I ASK IF any meds I took could cause it, no only on vitamins. So I tried the the pills for 4 months....nothing. it was getting worse!! 25 yrs ago my friend had told me how Nioxion Shampoo had helped her hair loss. I sent away for the whole kit. After the 1st use I have NO, NOTHING NOT ANY HAIR LOSS !!! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT !! TWO months later my hair is thicker and fuller !!! I used the scalp conditioner between Shampoos but it makes your hair stiff. Now I just Shampoo and treat 2x a week. DON'T LIVE WITH HAIR LOSS GET THIS PRODUCT. EVEN IF YOU ONLY GET THE SCALP TREATMENT!! IT WILL WORK!!! BUT TRY TO GET SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER.

Bought a sample size of this initially and could see a definite increase in the thickness of my hair after a few weeks I think the main thing is, give it time to work It may not work for everyone, but I have seen a difference in my hair

Tengo tiempo usandolo y me ha funcionado bien.. aunquer creo que mi caso ya no tiene remedio.. por lo menos evita que se me siga callendo mas pelo.. lo uso junto con el Kit de shampoo y enjuague del mismo sistema 2.
