Smell like perfume...so intense it is bizarre. Like the product was stored with fragrances. Willl not buy again

This stuff is so good it should be illegal. A friend of mine bought me a box from France for Christmas. I loved it so much I had to buy more! The price is worth it, without a doubt.

The recipient of this gift told me that these French truffles tasted terrible. A relative tried one and said that they tasted like cake batter mixed with something strange and awful. Another relative who loves chocolate said that they were "very chocolate-y." I can only surmise from their opinions that the taste of the cocoa dusting/coating is strong, even for chocolate lovers, and that perhaps folks around here are more familiar with simple, non-coated caramel chews and caramel hard candy.

These were delicious!!! Will definitely order again. If you are a chocolate lover, they are for you. I ordered these as part of a group of 'made in France' food products gift and thought these might be underwhelming (how do you compete with fois gras?) but they were a definite hit!! Did I mention I will be ordering them again?
