Another excellent Wera tool. Ratchet is smooth and precise, enabling more control than an electric screwdriver or drill, though the included bits will tighten in a drill if you wish. I keep this set handy for little projects around the house. I use it all the time.My daughter — tool savvy — was here a few weeks ago and used it briefly, immediately said that this is what she wants for Christmas. If you need a reasonably sized ratcheting screwdriver, you won’t be disappointed with this set.

Nice!
This ratcheting screwdriver works great for working on my mountain bike, skateboards, random things around the house, and assembly projects. Wera makes another kit that looks the same with different bits. Easy to reverse direction, lockable neutral position, comfy ergonomics, easy to change bits, and great looking. The long bits work well with my brushless drill and the pouch keeps everything in one place. Removing the handle from the elastic ring in the pouch is a breeze, but putting it back is fussy and requires two hands. The pouch is a bit lopsided in its design. I prefer the boxier pouch of the Wera Ratcheting T-handle set (another great option).

Very well manufactured set of ratcheting screwdrivers.
I intend to used these mostly for hobby level, light duty electronics projects and they're excellent. I wish they were magnetic, but that's easily enough remedied with a rare earth magnet. I will definitely keep Wera in mind for future tool purchases. They clearly put some pride in the overall finish of the product.

Good. Seems delicate. Updated. Great.
Update: I've had this set for a couple of years. It's lasted well and mechanism is still smooth. That said, it hasn't had any rough use/environment, so durability is still in the air.********************This is a well made set, but definitely medium light duty. I was expecting something tougher, like a Klien. I've already nicked a phillips head, which was most likely my fault, but I don't think the same would have happened with a Klien screwdriver. That said, this set is pretty comprehensive and feels good. Very convenient pouch for keeping in a drawer. Good kit for home use, which is where I have it.Why only three stars? For the price, they could have treated the tips. And the ratchet mechanism feels like it wouldn't take a lot of torque. I haven't tested it, but...it's a feeling. However the pouch and head selection really does make it a great set to have in the desk drawer.Update:I'd like to add that I got a 1/4" Screwbit Ratchet that fits perfectly in the center where there's an elastic hold. There are loads of these on this site, this is just the one I got. Patented Naro Close-Quarters 1/4" Screwbit Ratchet & 7 Bits - ReversibleGood set, just a little overprices or under constructed. Though no problems yet, partly, I think, because I treat it delicately.

So far so good. I've heard many good things about this brand
So far so good. I've heard many good things about this brand. This did not disappoint. I've had many brands in the past, albeit mostly cheap brands, but all of the praise and positive reviews I've seen regarding Wera were accurate. I've only had this set for a short time, but the quality, craftsmanship, and durability is apparent. Yes, it is expensive, but based on my experience so far, I will not have to buy another screw driver again. What I like:1) Highly durable2) Versatile with the multiple pieces I can switch out without having multiple individual handles. Which leads to number 3.3) Compact. Or Kompakt if you like. One package, one set fits in my tool drawer with room to spare as compared to 16 individual screw drivers.4) The ratcheting aspect is awesome and makes the job tons easier5) The free rolling portion of the handle. I can turn the handle freely when the screw is lose enough by holding the free turning part of the handle so when I let go of the handle for that second, the screwdriver doesn't come off the screw. What I don't like:1) The price, but you get what you pay for, and I don't expect I'll be buying another screw driver again in my lifetime.

My favorite screwdriver.
Super satisfied with this purchase. Wanted a long shank ratcheting screwdriver as opposed to a bit ratcheting one. This one delivers. There is a bit of play in the bit but that is to be expected.

Excellent screwdriver set.
I have a few Wera tools and like all of them. This set is no different. The handle is comfortable to hold and use. There is a good selection of bit types. I haven't had it long enough to comment about durability, but so far I haven't had any problems.

Amazing set
Pricey for sure. But the quality is excellent. The bits are long, so it balances the handle well, the rachatting is smooth and effective. Changing the direction or locking into a normal driver, is fast, efficient and easy. The locking of the bit is effortless. There is only the slightest movement, but it is a ratcheting driver so acceptable. The handle is grippy and perfect in my hand. The case is outstanding, durable, well made, holds everything in place. Packs up and goes into my tool bag pockets easily. Only thing I noticed is the strap holding the driver does too good a job, and requires an effort to remove it from the case. Not a show stopper in any way. i would rather it that way then it being too soft and the driver always slipping out. Great product.

Excellent All Around!
(Disclaimer: This is a Day 1 review and does not indicate the durability of the product)So here's my summary review:- Excellent presentation: The box was beautiful as was the tool pouch contained within (see pictures). I found that the screwdriver logo stitched to the front of the pouch, below the actual logo, was a little tacky but that is a matter of personal preference.- Excellent choice of materials used: I had thought that the directional selector knob at the top of the screwdriver would be made out of plastic but, to my surprise, it is made out of metal. The handle is made out of a high-grade plastic with rubber-esque inserts that feel great. The "Rapidaptor" bit- locking device also seems to be made of durable materials.- Excellent Functionality: The "Rapidaptor" bit adapter works exactly as intended, when you insert the bit it locks down and holds the bit firmly. To release, you simply have to pull up on the adapter and it releases the bit. The ratcheting mechanism seems sturdy but there IS a little bit of play when the mechanism is set to the locked position (the bit can turn slightly left and right, but admittedly not enough to feel much when you are using it in this configuration). The handle is comfortable and ergonomic. My only concern with this product is the advertised "Fine tooth gear" for the ratcheting mechanism. I suspect the finer teeth give the user a finer control but I am worried that the "fine teeth" would be more susceptible to early wear or damage which could lead to slipping. I would need to find out what material the gear is made from to alleviate my concerns. I have also included a picture of the screwdriver in my hand because the pictures of the product on amazon did not include a size reference
