Pelican1650 Camera Case With Foam, Black (016500-0040-110)

This was a gift for my boyfriend to use with camera equipment for travel. He loves it! This thing is a rock solid tank. I am very confident that his camera gear will be safe in it. Padded dividers are fantastic and good quality. If you are ordering this as a gift, beware....the box it is packaged in says "pelican box" in big letters on all sides. Not too sneaky! But my boyfriend stood right next to it without even noticing.

I bought this case for my studio lighting gear, and it holds a bunch of gear.....primarily 4 strobes and 2 battery packs, along with a lot of other odds and ends stuff like clamps, light meter, cords, gaffer tape, etc. I will definitely be buying another 1654 for the rest of my location lighting gear. I only wish that the dividers didn't seem so flimsy, but I guess I'm spoiled with the Think Tank stuff.....better quality dividers would give this 5 stars. Oh, and fully loaded this thing is pretty weighty. It's a lot of fun lugging up and down 3 stories with no elevator.

I love my Pelican Cases. They are used to transport my tools and clothes for work when traveling around the world. I'm a road warrior and these cases live up to the abuse of airlines around the world. I can't imagine using anything but a Pelican.My only gripe is people "helping" me at hotel's and cabs can't figure out the handle release lock.

I use this case to transport my lighting to location shoots. It easily holds my 4 monolights, battery packs and all cables. It makes a great step-stool when I need to get a little higher. It's also reassuring to know that if I'm on a boat that sinks, my lights will be OK.

My husband has always wanted one of these for his equipment . Everything fits in there perfectly. Now, at weddings he is able to roll the whole case wherever he happens to be shooting.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband who is a photographer - best Christmas surprise, ever.

I use my Pelican case all the time, I love it.. It protects my Nikon Pro Series Camera Bodies, and carries all of my equipment with no problems at all. I can actually seal the case up in the cold air condition, and then open it up after being out in the back of my truck in the heat and it is still cold inside... That is a seal!! I cannot brag enough about this case. I wheel it in to the photo shoot and I know that I have all my Gear at my finger tips.. It is amazing.!!!
