Just what i needed for my camcorder. I have an camcorder and an old DVD recorder. Do your research first before ordering this product, it only fits old sony camcorders.

Disappointed
Bought this for my Sony Camcorder HDR-CX440. The description said it was a replacement, but the end that goes into the camcorder is the wrong type.

Works perfectly with my camera

Worked Perfectly with my Sony HDR-CX405 Camcorder
This cable has the correct connector for the 'Multi' port on the right side of the Sony HDR-CX405 camera. Note that the connector on the cable appears to have the same pinout as a Micro-USB but the metal sleeve is longer. I believe this is to protect the Multi port from people plugging power supply cables into it and blowing up the AV circuitry inside the camera. When plugging into the camera Multi port, you need to make sure the connector is pushed all the way in to make a proper connection. After connecting it to the camera, I plugged it into the AV jacks on my HDTV and it worked as expected.
