Banhoek Chilli Oil - Rapeseed Oil & Bird’s Eye Chillies - 250ml - Unwrapped

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband who loves anything spicy. The oil comes in a really attractive cardboard box & the bottle is really nice too, it makes a really nice gift. He uses this oil cold ie not for cooking like you would with an extra virgin olive oil. So perfect for dipping in breads, meats & vegetables or drizzling on top of pasta, potatoes or breads. He will eat this old with practically anything. Much better than grocery store chilli oil, & better than the chilli oil i make at home, an excellent flavour with a heat that builds up. Considering he used it with most meals it lasted a long time, he will be buying another bottle definitely.

I was looking for a great chilli oil that wasn't too hot but added great additional flavour. This chilli oil does exactly that. Perfect blend between 'heat' and 'flavour'. Not had another chilli oil like it. Problem is that it's now going on all my food! Eggs in the morning, avo at lunch, pasta, chicken, vegetables. Really first class product!

My husband was given a bottle of Banhoek Chilli Oil by a good foodie friend who knows his chillies! We tried it first with roast chicken and were hooked straight away by the warm and subtle nutty flavours that unfold and develop in every mouthful, leaving you wanting more. We have since tried it in pretty much everything - salad dressing, on rice and pasta, fish and even on our toasties. Its so delicious and seems to compliment everything, giving it a lively perkiness and making your taste buds tingle. And because it is packaged so nicely it also makes the perfect present. Time to order some more.....

This really is magic in a bottle adds a lovely depth of flavour and heat to a dish , my daughter uses it for EVERYTHING even drizzles it over an omelette a little goes a long way , now that I’ve tried it it will forever be a staple in my kitchen cupboard

Had been looking for a quality oil with a nice kick of chilli that would be a go to kitchen addition, this is it. I like the heat level which is good but restrained so you can liberally drizzle over pasta and pizza and anything else that needs that lift. And my youngest boy loves the Tiger barcode design, clever.

Great flavour gave it only 3 stars as best before date is August so have to use it within 4 months

Great quality oil at a good price, we use it all the time, it’s great and I’m now a repeat customer and won’t buy anything else! It’s great to fry, put on salads and mix in with rice dishes too - excellent versatility a great ‘kick’ in the flavour.
