A very good book for beginners. I found it covered the basics quite well (e.g. grip, practice etc) and also acquiring the right mindset for this game. Will refer back to this useful reference guide in the future.

Great book to cover the basics and you a heads up how to play in all four spots of the team.

Concise writing style with easily remembered tips and explanations. Diagrams are very well done to illustrste practice examples and head configuations.

The book is well done and informative. I received the book in a timely manner. No complaints. You really ought to try lawn bowling--sort of fun.

As a complete beginner to lawn bowls this book gives clear guidance and instruction about the game of lawn bowls. Great pictures and well written for any novice to the game. You don’t need to read it all at once, just nice to dip in and out when you need pointing in the right direction. Very much recommend.

I have recently started to play bowls (short mat indoor at the moment) and this book provides everything I hoped it would. Right from the beginning you feel you have your own personal coach with you, it is really well written and very easy to follow. I would definitely recommend anyone who is taking up the game to buy this great book at a great price.
