WITTNER 903730 Metronome (WIT-808)

Quality instrument with nice oak wood finish. However, it was packaged poorly for the journey it had to make here to the US. Box was crushed and surprised the case wasn't broken or wood cracked. Durability or longevity is to be determined as there are plastic gears. Nice loud beat.

It is good. I bought a mechanical one in memory of my first metronome.

Wittner have been making mechanical metronomes since the end of the nineteenth century. This is a precision instrument that will last a lifetime and a stylish addition to any music room. It’s a world away from the electronic digital varieties, which of course have their place, but which cannot match the style and appeal of this beautiful machine. The metronome is loud enough to be of use to ensembles and the visual movement of the pendulum can also be a helpful aid to keeping time. Wonderful!

Despite the lukewarm reviews of this product I've read elsewhere, it arrived in immaculate condition and this metronome is quite simply a delight.Meticulously constructed, it functions just as I had hoped.. The sound is perfect and it looks majestic on my six foot black German grand piano , I don't need a bell to remind me of timing, Thankfully this one comes without. The visual swing of the pendulum and the natural acoustics of a beautifully crafted wooden case make this item a 'must have', which surpasses any of the digital gadgets on the market. It 's easy to adjust and beautifully proportioned. Buy it .

It’s lovely! It looks lovely, sounds lovely, sits on the piano, always there and easy to find. It’s used by the whole family. I love it.

Métronome très joli. Belle finition en bois pour s'accorder avec mon piano. Fonctionnalités métronome OK. le son ne fait pas trop plastiquemais il faut admettre que c'est relativement cher
