Best tinted lip balm ever -- color is perfect, slightly matte but moist and not goopy, stays on long enough, not like cool aid, looks great in work zoom/teams meetings, stays on longer and even better than a certain well known black honey lip product (which I also like). I have used up full vials of this which is unheard of for me. Application is also spot on -- you don't need a mirror and can be running from one thing to the next. Love love love-- plum drop is the best.

I absolutely adore the Honest Beauty Tinted Lip Balm, especially in the Dragon Fruit shade! As someone who prioritizes vegan and clean beauty, I love knowing that this product meets those standards without compromising on quality or aesthetics. I have bought many of these, the colors are great and they don't feel sticky, too thin, or too thick. I'm only giving 4 stars because the most recent one I got has a broken applicator mechanism. Brand new from the box yet it just clicks when rotated, no product will emerge...so it's unusable. Having purchased these before I've already thrown away the box and it's not worth fighting for $9, it's just disappointing.

I love this lip balm SO much! I have long searched for something like this and I'm so happy with it. It looks and feels amazing and I'm very happy with the ingredients. I have a sensitivity to beeswax and it shows up in so many "natural" lip balms so I can't use them. This is a balm that I feel good about using and I don't have a bad reaction to. I purchased the Plum Drop shade and absolutely love it! It looks very dark but it goes on much more sheer than it looks in the tube. It's a lovely shade with just the right amount of tint that makes me feel like I'm wearing lipstick but in a much lighter format. I somehow managed to lose the first tube that I bought and I was so distraught that I had to buy another one ASAP because I use it all the time. I'm definitely going to pick up another shade for summer.

The product itself isn’t bad. Packaging is nice. The color actually is perfect however it does not last long at all. I find myself reapplying way more often then if I just used plain old regular chapstick. Also, it almost has a more matte finish. I wouldn’t suggest this as an everyday all day lip balm. More of maybe just a quick cheap alternative if you need to apply something.

I never EVER write product reviews, primarily because I don’t like sharing photos of myself/my life. But I am writing this one because A) the product is excellent and B) I want it to be continued and never discontinued! I have searched for about six years for a lip balm type product that both tinted, repaired and hydrated my lips without being too much of a gloss (I don’t like the stickiness of gloss) but this one takes the cake for me. I struggle with acne and sensitive skin so please forgive any redness in the photos - this is just after I freshly cleansed my face. I used the color “plum drop” on half my lips, the other side is untouched. I get very dry lips even after aquaphor, and ample amounts of hydration. Lip color and chapping just naturally occurred for me in the lat few years and it has been a struggle. I was even looking into lip tinting though it would pls fix color and I would still have to hydrate - this does both jobs at half the cost. I want to buy one for ever room in my apartment so always have one available! It also give just the right amount of natural color I want. It doesn’t fade to where it bleeds residual staining into the creases of my lips. Love this product. 10/10

I have tried and used so many lip balms, lipsticks and lipglosses for so many years that it’s embarrassing. I have so many I had to actually separate all of them into different cosmetic bags by color! Needless to say I have plenty of experience with lip products and have come to know what is good and what’s not. I can say that this color lip balm is amazing. I bought the plum color and it’s perfect. It glides on super smooth and the color is much lighter than what the actual tube looks like HOWEVER the color is buildable so if you just want some light color one swipe will do for you but if you want the color of the tube you just keep applying until it reaches that deep plum color. This balm is very moisturizing and smooth. It’s not sticky or glue-like. You don’t even know it’s there. It is also not a matte. My lips look very smooth and supple when I wear this. I will point out that I have very sensitive skin and my lips are especially prone to peeling and chapping if I use harsh chemicals on them. So if this lipstick works for me it will pry work for anyone with sensitivities. Also I went chemical-free a couple years back and there are only a few companies that sell cosmetics that are truly chemical-free. Honest seems to be one of them. I feel good about using this as I don’t worry I am harming myself through the use of it. I can’t attest to the rest of the colors but as far as the plum is concerned I am very happy with it and have been using it more than my other balms/lipsticks lately. There is no smell or taste so it’s perfect for people who have fragrance sensitivities. I feel this is one balm that was done the right way. I have nothing negative to say about it. Even the price seems very reasonable for the quality and caliber of the product. I’ve spent a lot more on other lip products that weren’t very good at all. I would have no problem recommending this to anyone.

I starting learning that a lot of lipsticks, even vegan ones, have some ingredients that are really bad. The Honest lip balms get very good marks (check out ewg.org-- the Environment Working Group-- EWG Skin Deep). The Plum Drop is a good shade that does give some color-- not too dark but gives some sheer color (may be a dupe for Clinique's Black Honey). It is not very moisturizing, though and the lipstick case could be more attractive (it is rather plain). May try the Dragon Fruit shade in the spring/summer. A good value for the clean formulation.
