SERENITY2000 Magnetic Therapy Knee Band for Pain Relief and Patella Support, 4000 Gauss

This fits perfectly on my large leg and is very comfortable. It does give me some pain relief and it fits nicely under my slacks.

About 3 years ago I banged my knee on the metal part of a hospital bed while tending to a relative who was ill. I developed a hematoma that finally led me to an orthopedist and a cortisone injection. This helped for a few weeks but wore off, and my knee was swollen and stiff and difficult to feel comfortable on. I tried all types of braces and finally this Magnetic Knee Band. From the first time I strapped it on, I felt relief and was able to walk unimpeded. When I went to see my orthopedist for the followup, he asked how this brace was working for me. I told him it worked wonders. He responded that magnets were the type of thing that worked well for some and for others - not at all. The Velcro does become frayed over time and I've had to buy new braces, but with the peace of mind I've found with this device - it is a small price to pay. These are not to be slept in or worn all day, but for walking and biking they have been quite effective for my 50 year old knees.

The band could not be fit and tightened in a way that either did not slide down or cut off my circulation. It was very uncomfortable. I am returning.

I think this product is worth the money because it does take the edge off of knee pain; however, it would be more comfortable with a thicker padded strap to better cover the magnet on the back. I had to use the loose magnet on another knee brace because it wasn't comfortable for me with the skimpy strap on this knee band.

I am only giving these 4 stars due to having issues on getting them on time when I paid for shipping and they arrived at the same time as they would have without paying shipping. That being said these are great and I notice a difference with my knees when I don’t wear them. They really help my knees and help to make the pain much more manageable.

I didn’t expect much and boy was I surprised? Bones spurs at the back of my knee are quite painful and have given me trouble for quite some time. I tried this band after recommendation from a friend. The difference after using it during exercise was remarkable!

I was skeptical at first about using a product of this type, but my pain was so severe and impacting my quality of life, I gave it a shot. I have noticed a measurable decrease in the pain level in the short time I have worn the device. I don't have any aspirations of this being a cure all, but to gain some relief, given that it has worked for me, hence the 5 star rating.
