Pretty good solution for pain
I really do like this product. I have the other splint product that is plastic and is designed to be worn at night. I like this one because it is much more comfortable to walk around in. In fact, I don't wear the plastic one anymore. When I first put this on, I immediately experienced relief from my bunion pain. I am the type of person who hates tight stuff. I keep thinking my blood circulation is going to be cut off, etc., and can only stand things like that for a short time. This product, because it is adjustable, is comfortable enough for me to wear all day long. You do have to take it off to put shoes on, unless you have large sandals. But it is simple enough to get back on. I think I am also experiencing some improvement in my bunions, but I have only had this for about 2 weeks now and am not sure if this product will actually make a huge difference. However, I have been stretching my toes for the last few days, and trying to get that big toe moving without engaging my other toes, and this might also be helping. At the very least, this product will help you with the pain, and that might even make some of the swelling go down. I highly recommend it! I bought one for each foot. 6/1/2014 Update: Other reviewers have complained about the velcro on this product, and I agree. About a week ago, the velcro became very loose and would not hold while I walked. I discovered the problem was not with the "hook" part of the velcro, that the problem was the soft material part (a strip that contains the metal insert that runs along the side of the foot). My solution was to buy some velcro strips and hotglue them in that area. It is working quite well now! My bunions are markedly improved, as well, which is why I went through so much trouble to fix this product. I rarely have pain, and the bumps on the side of each foot seem considerably smaller. I have continued to wear this while at home and still do the massaging and stretching of my foot when I am sitting and watching television. I am still not sure if it is the massage or the product that is making such a difference, but I plan to continue both!

A great product for the price
For the price, this is an excellent product. Those who are saying it does not align the toe are probably not wearing it correctly. I made this mistake at first. You must align the metal support along the medial side of the foot. I also purchased the Bunion Aid Hinge Splint. The Bunion Aid allows for more correction if than the Neo G and it also allows for an unimpeded gait. While the Neo G is flexible, it does impede the gait just a bit. Neither can be worn under a shoe - wear them around the house with a sock. Overall, this is comfortable, strong and well constructed. It does re-align the toe. If price is a concern, go with this rather than the Bunion Aid. Oh, and this a by FAR better than anything of a comparable price I have seen in the drug store.

Best bunion brace I've tried
I have both left and right versions of the brace and they are the best of this type of device that I've found. Any time you're pulling/forcing a toe against its natural progression of forming a bunion, there's going to be pain or discomfort involved, so for what it's trying to do, this product has the best approach, in my opinion.. Far more comfortable than the ones that have a plastic piece that uses a lever action to pull the big toe; that type is very difficult to walk with and the padding on the inside of the big toe is insufficient. With this Neo-G type, I can actually walk with them on. The material is soft and well-padded; the device seems well-made in general. With 3 velcro straps, it's possible to make adjustments for varying the intensity of the pulling action. I've found the right amount of force for the toe strap and leave that one where it is, just unfasten the 2 around the foot to take the brace off. Shipping from the UK so not possible for 2-day delivery, but it didn't take as long to get here as amazon projected; it was about a week.

Huge and Too Much Puffy Padding
I have been working on trying to correct my bunion as much as I can without surgery. I've had the best success with a brace I got a long time ago with a plastic piece but the plastic can dig in if I wear it a lot. I thought this might be a better option but it has so much puffy padding that if I stand up it causes my arch to fall flat because of all the padding under my toe. This totally defeats the purpose since my arch falling and improper alignment is what caused the bunion in the first place. My doctor told me it's key to walk with my arch up and I wanted this to wear around the house but when I stand up the puffy padding pushes my foot into an unhealthy position. Also I wear a size 9 women's shoe and I feel like I am swimming in this thing. It's hard to get a snug fit which is needed with so much padding. I mean a little padding is nice but this is like trying to wrap a comforter around my foot/toe. I've included some photos to show how the puffy padding sticks out even when I have it strapped on as tight as I can get it. Also I took a photo of my foot with the arch in the first position with my other brace and not sure if you can see how my foot wants to turn over on the arch. It's like I would have to add a half inch of padding under my heal to match all that padding under my toe and lower portion of my foot. This is not going to work for me and I guess I can't return it so too bad for me. Thanks for reading my review Becky Brooks

Better than some...
Even though I gave my correct size, this corrector is a bit too big for my size 7 (U.S. size) foot. Pulls the big toe out straighter but the velcro band doesn't fit snug enough. Can only wear at bed time, as it's too bulky for shoes and even flip-flops, so really can't say yet if it does any good. However, it's not uncomfortable and if I find it's helped the bunion then I will purchase another for other foot in size smaller.

Thue product never arrived, thus i can't say whether the product is good or not. Giving 1star because the site is telling me that the package is in transit, but it is not.

If you are having or have had surgery on bunions then these supports are invaluable. They are well made and can be positioned comfortably to put gentle pressure on the joint so that it stays in alignment when healing. I had both feet done at the same time and wearing these has made my feet feel comfortable and supported.
